In glorious summer weather, with a great atmosphere and large crowds, K\u00f6nig + Neurath opened its factory gates to residents of Karben and the surrounding area from 12 noon to 4 p.m. to mark the company’s\u00a0100th anniversary<\/strong>. Patron Gerti K\u00f6nig welcomed the guests, who were offered tours of the factory and showroom, family highlights and a varied stage programme in collaboration with schools and clubs. The day focused on being approachable, getting involved, experiencing and direct dialogue.<\/p>\n\n\n

A total of\u00a0over 1,500 visitors attended \u2013 a strong sign of solidarity in the region<\/strong>. Another highlight was the ceremonial unveiling of the future \u2018Egon K\u00f6nig Anlage\u2019 by Mayor Guido Rahn and CEO Steffen Schwerd. The street name honours Egon K\u00f6nig’s services to the town of Karben. The implementation and design will be carried out in collaboration with the town of Karben next year. Another highlight was the opening of the new seKNd.life outlet store, which sells high-quality used office furniture to end consumers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
