The new Eggersmann ROKTEC IC 1000 will be presented at the Recycling AKTIV & Tiefbau LIVE trade fair (RATL) in Karlsruhe from 9 to 11 October. With the market launch of the mobile impact crusher, Eggersmann Impaktor GmbH is now adding a highly efficient solution for mineral processing to its own product range.<\/p>\n\n\n

High-quality Substitute Building Materials from Mineral Waste<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

“Eggersmann is known as a full-service provider in recycling \u2013 which is why we are regularly asked for a professional solution for the mobile processing of demolition material,” says Pascal Petermann, Managing Director of Eggersmann<\/a> Impaktor GmbH, explaining the addition to the portfolio. “With the new Eggersmann ROKTEC IC 1000, we can now also meet the demand for high-quality substitute building material production. This is because our new impact crusher produces cubic end products from concrete, asphalt or bricks. These can be excellently compacted, for example, and are therefore perfect for immediate use in road substructures or agricultural road construction.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The extensive standard equipment of the mobile impact crusher is specifically designed for the treatment of mineral construction waste. For example, it has an overband magnet for separating ferrous metals like reinforcements of crushed concrete. These reinforcements can be easily processed in the crushing chamber up to a diameter of 17 mm. “With its large infeed, the ROKTEC IC 1000 can handle material sizes of up to 800 mm,” Petermann continues. Both the distance and the angle of the impact plates to the crushing rotor can be adjusted at any time to precisely define the end product. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, grain sizes from 0 to 80 mm are possible. To ensure consistent quality, the material size is also precisely classified by an integrated screening<\/a> system after the crushing process and oversize particles are removed. This oversize grain is then fed back into the feed hopper via a return belt, creating a closed crushing circuit. This ensures a particularly homogeneous end product. Alternatively, the return belt can also be folded out and used to stockpile a further fraction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finer materials \u2013 such as sand, gravel or soil \u2013 are already screened before the crushing chamber and discharged via a pre-screen discharge belt. “Sand in particular has an abrasive effect in the crushing chamber and thus causes greater wear. It is therefore important to us that it is removed before the crushing process,” explains Petermann. To secure the crushing chamber, the ROKTEC IC 1000 also has an adjustable protective flap that keeps oversized material out of the chamber. Petermann summarises: “Overall, the machine is designed to minimise wear and maximise availability. This is also the reason why the material does not simply fall from the crushing chamber onto the discharge conveyor, but first lands on a robust discharge chute. This chute then gently transfers it to the discharge belt, preventing the belt from being damaged unnecessarily.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
