The Digital Product Passport (DPP)<\/strong> is coming – and with it new requirements for companies that sell products in the EU. Already from 2027<\/strong> the DPP is used for product groups such as Batteries (>2kWh), electronics and textiles<\/strong> mandatory by law. Other sectors will follow.<\/p>\n\n\n

Transparency, traceability and digitalization<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The aim of the Digital Product Passport is to provide all relevant information about a product digitally throughout its entire life cycle: from material origin and carbon footprint to reparability and recyclability. The technical basis for this is clear product identification – for example via RFID technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
