PLOEGER BP-2000 BEAN HARVESTER
Investing in reliability
For many years Ploeger have put all its efforts, knowledge and
energy into the development of technically advanced harvesting
machines which are offering you a maximum result. The new BP2000
bean harvester is the result of Decca’s machine manufacturing and
agricultural experience. It is a self propelled unit, complete with
a large hopper. A modern reliable sophisticated harvester that even
under the most adverse field and weather conditions, remains a
perfect harvester. The low depreciation, low running and maintenance
costs against the high recovery, makes the BP2000 a fruitful sound
investment.
Picking head
The BP2000 picking head is 3.245 mm wide, equipped within rubber
vulcanised picking fingers. The header is hinge connected to the
machine, which enables it to follow the field contours. Picking
height and reel speed are adjustable from inside the cab. An optimal
picking result is achieved by the adjustable front coil: in height
to the field and distance to the picking finger.
Cleaning
Three stage cleaning. The first 3 meter wide in-feed conveyor belt
delivers the harvested product to the first cleaning stage: four
in-line fitted suction fans. Two cross belts transporting the
product to the 2nd conveyor belt to the second cleaning stage over a
pintle belt, which removes by means of a suction fan a major part of
the waste material. The almost clean product is transported to the
third conveyor belt and onto the final third cleaning stage where
the final suction fan cleans the product complete.
The result: Optimal cleaning with a minimum of product loss.
Hopper
A higher efficiency with the 4.5 tons hopper holding capacity. With
its unique lifting mechanism - unloading up to 4.375 mm at a safe
distance from the machine. With the two independently controllable
unloading chains in the hopper, the unloading can be fast and
controllable.
Drive
Two heavy-duty drive axles in combination with a differential and
four large 30.5 x 32 tyres guarantee optimal traction.
In the field the machine can move crab-wise by using the steerable
front axle for
a maximum of free space between the tyre and the crop. In short:

PLOEGER BP-2100 BEAN HARVESTER
The new BP2100 bean harvester is the result of Decca’s machine

Cleaning
A multi stage cleaning process. The product is cleaned in “ 3 or 4
stages “ the elevator belt transports the harvested product over the
full picking width in to the 1st cleaning stage, 4 in line powerful
suction fans extracting the majority of leaves and waste from the
beans. The 2nd elevator belt transports the product trough an
optional cluster remover or a two reel de-cluster unit, to the next
cleaning stage, where a 3 meter wide pinned belt in conjunction with
a blower placed underneath removes the clusters and plant residuals.
a 3rd 3 meter wide conveyor belt transport the almost clean beans to
the final full width cleaning stage, 4 in line suction fans will
extract the final waste from the beans before they are transported
on to 2 cross belts to the hopper in- feed belt.
Result: optimal cleaning with minimum losses.
