Danfoss VLTŪ Low Harmonic Drives
The ŪVLT Low Harmonic Drive is a complete VLT
frequency drive built on the power and control platform of the new
generation VLT drives. The difference is that the VLT Low Harmonic Drive
eliminates the harmonic disturbances on the supply grid by actively imposing
currents into the grid so that the high quality sine wave of the grid
current is restored.
Like the other VLT frequency drives, the VLT Low Harmonic Drive has a
modular build-up and aŪ high energy efficiency, back-channel cooling
and user-friendly operation.
The VLT AQUA Drive, VLT HVAC Drive and VLT AutomationDrive are available in

The VLTŪ FCM 300 Series is an integrated drive-motor
solution which combines a VLTŪ frequency converter and a high standard
quality motor in a single product.
The frequency converter is attached in place of the motor terminal box and
it is not higher than the standard terminal box -nor wider or longer than
the motor. The VLTŪ DriveMotor FCM 300 is available in a multitude of
variants, individualised to meet customer requirements. Power range

VLTŪ Decentral FCD 300
The VLTŪ FCD 300 is a complete frequency converter
designed for decentral mounting. It can be mounted on the machine/wall
-close to the motor - or directly on the motor.
The decentral design reduces the need for central control panels and
space-consuming motor control cabinets are eliminated. In addition, the need
for long screened motor cables is significantly reduced. Power range

VLTŪ Compact Starter MCD 200
Due to extensive use of the latest technology, such as
new semiconductor control algorithms and bypass design, the new soft
starters are very compact and heat dissipation very low.
There is no need for extra ventilation or bypass contactors. This simplifies

cables and saves costs.

Power Options MCC 102 du/dt filter
du/dt filters reduce the du/dt values on the motor
terminal phase-to-phase voltage %u2013 an issue that is important for short
motor cables.
The du/dt filters reduce the motor insulation stress and are recommended in
applications with risk of flashover.
Compared to sine-wave filters, du/dt filters cut off frequencies above the
switching frequency. Having small inductance and capacitance, the price of
the filter is lower. Range

MCC 101 Sine wave filters
Sine-wave Filters provide a sinusoidal phase-to-phase
motor voltage and reduce motor insulation stress and eliminate switching
acoustic noise from the motor. Bearing currents are also reduced, especially

VLTŪ AHF 005 & AHF 010 Harmonic Filter
The Danfoss AHF 005 and AHF 010 are advanced harmonic
filters not to be compared with traditional harmonic trap filters. The
Danfoss harmonic filters have been specially designed to match the Danfoss
frequency converters.
By connecting the Danfoss harmonic filters AHF 005 or AHF 010 in front of a
Danfoss frequency converter the total harmonic current distortion generated
back to the mains is reduced to 5% and 10% respectively. Range
