F-Mount Lenses
Manual focus lenses for F mount cameras in
industrial applications
With our ZF lenses, we offer high resolution image quality for technical and
industrial applications. Carl Zeiss F-Mount lenses for industrial
applications are key components in complex production processes as well as
in measuring tasks, quality assurance and many other applications. Proving
their outstanding image performance, reliability and high quality.
ZF LensesCarl Zeiss ZF lenses are compatible with any F-Mount camera.
The F-Mount is a popular used standard for high-resolution industrial
cameras with large sensor sizes and for line scan cameras with sensors up to
43 mm. ZF lenses from Carl Zeiss are widely used in machine vision,
automation, quality inspection, optical metrology as well as in Research and
Development e.g. with High Speed cameras. Thanks to the large image format,
our objective lenses are ideal for the constantly increasing use of
high-resolution image sensors with bigger sensor formats.
Due to the manual adjustment of the focus the helical focusing mount of ZF
lenses are much more precise than usual focusing mounts.
- high resolution
- color purity
- robust housing
- precise manual focus and aperture setting
- stray light absorption
ZF-I: Industrial EditionThe Industrial Edition of ZF lenses are
provided with lock screws for both the aperture setting and focus.
Both the locking screws and the stable design make the lens inure to
vibrations and improve measuring repeatability and avoiding machine
downtime.
ZF-IR: Infrared Edition
The Infrared Edition of ZF lenses are suitable for the use with special
cameras like IR cameras without an IR blocking filter. The transmission of
ZF-IR lenses adds up to 70% at 1000 nm, while usual lenses exhibit only 20%.
Versatile Camera Mounts
These high sophisticated optical designs are also available with
different mounts like M42 Screw Mount (S-Mount) and EF-Mount.

Telecentric Visionmes Lenses
Carl Zeiss VISIONMES lenses are developed for crucial
measuring tasks in industry and feature telecentric optics. For optical
metrology at high precision telecentric optics are essential.
With this type of objective lens the light is parallel over the whole object
field and the image size will remain the same even if the objects position
would vary.
Carl Zeiss offers telecentric lenses with outstanding image performance and
extremely low distorsion for the purpose of imaging and/or measuring objects
up to 300 mm diameter.
Distorsion up to 105 mm object size: 3 µm
Distorsion up to 300 mm object size: 5 µm
Every single lens is manufactured in Germany and quality tested with the
accurateness you can expect from Carl Zeiss. Inspection certificate on
request.

Moduless
Telecentric Visionmes Moduls
TVM is a illumination module for telecentric lenses and works either with
Carl Zeiss Visionmes lenses for an object field of 35 mm or 70 mm.
It features highly parallel and homogeneous illumination exactly fitting to
the telecentric Carl Zeiss Visionmes lenses. Due to its high parallelism*
diffraction at the edges is nearly prohibited and the exact detection is
considerably improved. *The angle to the optical axis is less than 0.1°
As the TVM is designed to be robust and shows several machine seating
surfaces it proves to be - in combination with a 35 mm or 70 mm Visionmes
lens - an ideally tuned module featuring illumination and objective lens you
can easily integrate in your metrology solution.
