AVIT has developed a programme of pipe connections which is standardised world-wide and standard in the field of hydraulic. Today, there are 68 staff members who provide the conditions for a safe high pressure piping system.

The production is working with modern CNC-turning machines which are controlled by a DNC-system. The supervision of the production is guaranteed by a quality management system according to DIN/ISO so that all AVIT components meet the corresponding requirements.

Technical product information
Material

Standard type of steel in accordance with the technical specification for tube connections according to DIN 3859. The nuts are cold- or hot-pressed respectively. Besides, all parts are also available from current production in austenitic steel, material AISI 316 Ti. Other materials: brass, heat-resistant steel, titanium, CuNiFer alloys upon request.

Surface protection

Standard design steel, phosphatized, oiled, Znph r 5f in accordance with DIN 50942. Other surfaces available:
  • galvanized
  • chromatized
  • chemically nickel-coated
To be specified separately, when ordering. AVIT welding cones and welding parts are oil protected.

Standardization

As far as applicable, AVIT welding couplings are identical with the dimensions of DIN 2353/ EN - ISO 8434-1. In case of standardized connections the respective DIN/EN ISO-number has been indicated. Technical specifications in accordance with DIN 3859 are adhered to, as far as applicable.

Pressure range

AVIT couplings reach higher values than indicated in the respective DIN- and ISO-tables. The tables for the pressure selection as shown on pages 1.08 -1.09, include nominal and bursting pressure values. The calculation is based on DIN 2413/III for dynamical loads.
The use of couplings for higher pressures than indicated in the above-mentioned tables, is permissible on the condition that the safety factor is reduced accordingly. #

Temperature range

All pressures are measured at ambient temperature. The permissible operating temperatures for standard materials may be taken from the diagram.

  • Whitworth threads, form G, in accordance with DIN/ISO 228
  • Metric threads DIN /ISO 13-5
  • NPFT threads ANSI B.20
  • UNF or UN ISO 6149 are available. Please specify the particular type when ordering.
 
New Product: AVIT RSK - Speed welding
AVIT-RSK consists of four construction elements:
Pos.1 - male body DIN 2353
Pos.2 - nut DIN 3870 A2
Pos.3 - friction welding cone AVIT = DIN 3865
Pos.4 - o-ring DIN 3852 / ISO 6149

RSK System = 100% Compatible.

By the application of mobile welding machines and in addition patented 24° AVIT-friction welding cone has become possible for advantageous adding the cone at the steel tube end for proved 24° coupling connection.



Assembly expiration:
1. The RSK is inserted in the cone of the instep admission and by pull of the nut stretched.
2. The tube is clamped in the vice.
3. After the choice of the Programs the automatic assembly occurrence begins. The spindle begins to turn and presses by the established tube end. The metallic connection is produced by a pressure push.

Couplings
up to 50mm tube, standard pressures for 160, 250, 320, 400 bar

With AVIT reducing cones all pipes dimensions can be realized. Dimensions for pipes according to DIN 2448. All original AVIT couplings can be combined between each other.

Standard - series for couplings: S = Heavy Duty and L = Light Duty
Square Flanges
Standard - series PN 160 - 250 - 320 - 400 - 500

We have the most expansive flange program in Europe. Besides the usual DIN and SAE flanges AVIT offers an alternative with square flanges. You will save space and weight also against SAE flanges in the high pressure series.

Between NW 40 and NW 80 the advantages of the square type are obviously concerning technique and price.
Elbow flanges
Standard - series PN 160 - 250 - 320 - 400 - 500

We have the most expansive flange program in Europe. Besides the usual DIN and SAE flanges AVIT offers an alternative with square flanges. You will save space and weight also against SAE flanges in the high pressure series.

Between NW 40 and NW 80 the advantages of the square type are obviously concerning technique and price.
 
SAE Flanges
Standard pressure:
Series 3000 psi = 21 MPa (210 bar/static)
Series 6000 psi = 41 MPa (410 bar/static)

Flange distributors
We manufacture standard flange distributor for flanges SAE after ISO 6162, series 3000 and 6000, from DN 13 to DN 51 and for AVIT square flanges after ISO 6164, PN 10 to PN 500, DN 10 to DN 150.
As well we manufacture flange distributor for your special application case. These distributors are to be deduced with different nominal width by flange or thread connections arbitrarily.

High pressure Hoses
There are hydraulic hoses in two standards tube-qualities: 2 Spiral-(2SP) and 4 Spiral-wire insert (4SP) after German Institute for Standardization 20021. The dimensions are available from DN 6 to 40. We offer to you three connection possibilities which you can combine with each other.
  • 24° coupling connection from DN 6 to DN 32
  • Square flange connection from DN 12 to DN 40
  • SAE-flange connection from DN 12 to DN 40
 
Pipe swivel joints, joint systems
PN 40 bar up to DN 500 / PN 320 bar up to DN 150

We supply pipe swivel joints for many applications. By the combination with tube bends or elbows, all types of swivel shears are feasible as mechanical assembly technique. The AVIT flange program is the ideal completion for all pipe connections.

Standard series DN 10 - 500 / PN 10 - 400

Pipe swivel joints with couplings, ball-type rotary pipe joints, swivel joints for intermittent rotary motions, type with single grooved or double ball bearing, pipe swivel joints with sealing inside and outside.
Multi channel rotary units
With simultaneous movement with several separated channels we offer to you trick executions for the respective application case. We manufacture trick executions AVIT from normal steel or high-grade steel - according to your wish. With the AVIT screw connections or flanges you can realize simply and safely every connection.
