Tray and carton erectors for the erecting of plain carton blanks are used as stand-alone machines or as part of packaging lines.

R.WEISS erectors of the product lines ECONOMYLINE and COMFORTLINE are available as single head or double head machines. The machine size will be adapted to the blank size. Change-over is executed by quick-release size parts and as option by spindle adjustment.

Wraparound technology is the ideal system for form stable products, e.g. like spark plug cartons, tooth paste cartons, etc.

The main cost saving is based on the fact that the processes erecting, filling and closing are combined in one machine only. Usually by the wraparound blank style further cost reduction is possible due to the material savings.

Beside to the very high reliability of our wraparound packers a further advantage is the very compact design. This is reached by the vertical folding frame technology. Attention is paid to good access for change-over, cleaning and maintenance.

Efficient packaging technology for chocolate plates and stackable products.

The VST-C stackers are designed for the packaging of paper/aluminium-wrapped or flow-wrapped chocolates plates or other stackable products.

Within the machine the trays and cartons are efficiently erected, filled and closed.

At the tray and carton design a high flexibility is given, too. Simple trays with or without cover lid, cartons with hinged lid and wraparound-style cartons can be handled on the system.

The carton design can be modified so that it will have the function of a display tray after opening. Additional staple edges for better fixing of the product can be incorporated.

Depending on the requested output carton closing systems of the two product lines ECONOMYLINE and COMFORTLINE will be used.

All typical carton closing styles can be handled on our closing systems. We list here just some of them: hinged lid with tuck-in flap with or without glue dot for temper evident closure, outside glued flap with tear-off strip, one-, two- and three-side closure, U-shaped lid, wraparound-style lid, etc.
