Four-point contact bearings
Derived from watch making technology and invented by mps, the 4-point contact ball bearing structure differs from radial bearings in that the raceway consists of four inclined planes. This space saving contact bearing is suitable for miniaturization projects and offers the additional technical advantages of high-efficiency and stable performance over time.

The PiezoWave™ motor was developed for demanding fields of application such as consumer electronics (mobile phones). The resulting performance reflects the industry‘s need for robust, compact, efficient, highly dynamic, and cost effective drives. High volume manufacturing processes combined with a low part count contribute to the competitive cost level. The electronics interface is simple – it requires only two low voltage signals, various wave forms are possible, and the frequency control requirements are very broad. It is very simple to integrate into almost any system due to its simple design and the fact that it is a complete motor containing both the piezo elements and a drive rod.
