        • Double membrane gas holders provide innovative solutions for safe and efficient storage of biogas.

          A double membrane gas holder is a flexible gas storage system consisting of two separate membranes. The inner membrane stores the gas, while the outer membrane is stabilised by the supporting air pressure and provides weather protection. The air-filled space between the membranes provides the necessary stability and leads to a safe and adaptable gas storage.

          Our double membrane gas storage tanks are a modern alternative without conventional slurry storage tanks as a foundation. Flexible with regard to assembly, we can easily adapt to your system - whether floor slab, ring foundation or concrete ceiling.  As standard version, they are mounted in a stainless steel flat profile, however, other options are also possible.

          Round, square, oval - shape and volume are individually selected. Rely on flexible, modern and future-oriented gas storage with our innovative double membrane gas storage tank.

          The easiest and most uncomplicated solution for external unpressurised gas storage.

          We manufacture your foil gas holders in all sizes and shapes, e.g. cushion, cylinder or cube shape. The gas holder is made to measure and fitted with connections of various types and sizes according to your specifications and wishes.

        • Single-shell cover

          We supply flexible, weather-resistant gas membranes made of EPDM rubber. The membranes are tailored to suit your container size and are available in various thicknesses. We also supply nets spanning across the whole system, if necessary, with belt reinforcement for maximum protection against overstretching.

            • Our weather protection membrane made of PVC-coated polyester fabric impresses with its high tear resistance, UV and weather resistance and TRAS120 conformity. Customised handwork and two independent welding processes guarantee double safety.

              The advanced latest generation of environmentally friendly gas storage membranes made of PE is characterised by high flexibility, low permeability and a significant reduction in odour emissions.

            • Heat Protection Membrane

            • Our patented heat protection membrane prevents the constant upward movement of the gas and thus reduces heat losses by up to 30 %. The gas storage volume remains fully usable, saving energy and costs, which pays off quickly and is environmentally friendly.

            • Substructure

            • Our belt net substructure combines reliability and durability: the substructure is decoupled from the mounting system, which not only offers flexibility but also safety during maintenance and installation work. The function of the substructure is retained even after the membrane has been opened. The robust substructure net prevents direct contact between the membrane and the substrate. High-quality V4A stainless steel parts and biogas-resistant materials guarantee maximum service life.

            • Fastening Systems

            • Thanks to its special design, the Baur double flat profile made of stainless steel is the right solution for every container. This design ensures optimum gas tightness, offers high stability and durability. Thanks to replaceable screw anchors, it is maintenance-friendly and cost-saving.

              The Baur stainless steel U-profile with clamping hose system offers a safe, maintenance-friendly and durable solution for foil fastening. The dual-circuit system enables fast opening and closing, while the integrated compressed air monitoring ensures optimum operational safety. Thanks to the addition of glycol, the system remains frost-proof and reliable even at low temperatures.

            • Supply and Exhaust Air System

            • Our ATEX-certified support air blowers offer the perfect solution for the optimum operation of your double membrane gas storage tank. We plan the design of the support air supply individually according to the requirements of your biogas plant. Thanks to our extensive stockholding, we guarantee the rapid availability of various blower types.

              Our supply and exhaust air system ensures safety and efficiency in your double membrane gas storage tank. They enable precise adjustment of the support air pressure and compensate for pressure changes.

            • Measurement Technology

            • For efficient system control, we integrate the appropriate measurement technology for your gas storage system. We offer the following gas level measurement variants with a signal range of 4-20 mA:

            • Our overpressure and underpressure protection based on the immersion cup principle reliably protects your double layer gas storage. An optionally available trace heating and signalling of the overpressure for safe, trouble-free operation.

            • We offer V4A centre supports, centre support extensions or customised head parts for concreted centre supports or wooden supports - flexible and a perfect fit for your double membrane gas storage tank. Stability and quality from a single source!

            • Belt Tensioning

            • Our patented belt tensioning system specifically relieves the weather protection membrane by absorbing additional loads and distributing them evenly. The arrangement of the belts specifically reduces the load on the membrane at the key points, which significantly increases the stability of the gas holder under increased wind loads and higher operating pressures. This leads to improved operational safety and higher efficiency.

            • Service opening

            • Our specially developed service opening for double diaphragm gas storage tanks enables quick access to the support air space for maintenance work and inspections, regardless of the weather. It is not necessary to open the diaphragm fastening system.

          • Leakage Detection

            • You receive a complete system with advice, installation and documentation from a single source. Leakage detection is mandatory for storage tanks installed out of sight (round or rectangular tanks, slurry channels in stables) in order to detect leaks in the structure and thus prevent contamination of soil and water.

                      Our roller shutters are robust and weatherproof. They are rolled up on a laterally mounted shaft and provide secure guidance with U-rails as well as an optical safety edge. Choose between manual drive, push-button operation with dead man's control or radio remote control.
