Integrated digital camera
- The IT-G500 handheld terminal integrates a high-resolution 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, high sensitivity and LED flash that can be used to send photos of goods, a signature on a delivery confirmation sheet or provide evidence of the delivery situation (e.g. in the event of an accident or traffic congestion) to head office. You can even take photos in the dark or outside at night thanks to the extremely bright LED flash.

- With 480 x 800 pixels, the new crystal clear WVGA display offers around 25% more information and enhanced readability compared with the Casio IT-G500. The IT-G500 therefore ensures an amazingly clear, high-contrast image that is exceptionally easy to read in all lighting conditions — even blazing sunlight. Special CASIO display technology makes the display is ten times more robust than conventional screens, meaning it can withstand sudden pressure and will not break. Impact resistance has been improved by the inclusion of a transparent, shock-absorbent material between the LCD and touch panel. Wireless WAN (HSPA/UMTS/EGPRS (EDGE)/GPRS/GSM) and GPS included
- The IT-G500 is equipped with GPRS (EDGE/GSM etc.) and GPS and can transmit data such as information on the load state and successful delivery completion from the driver to head office in real-time and determine the precise location of the vehicle. This enables managers to optimise operation in their business and e.g. instruct the nearest driver to complete a pickup. Navigation applications are also possible.
Chip cards and barcodes
- The IT-G500 features an integrated laser scanner or CMOS imager for logging one or two dimensional barcodes.The IT-G500 features an integrated smart card reader and/or a writer for Near Field Communication as standard. This enables you to deal with tickets and check ID cards with the quick and simple use of a Mifare® or FeliCa® system. This function also allows you to protect the terminal from unauthorised access.

- CASIO is introducing the new IT-9000 multifunctional terminal, which is an innovative hand held/payment system for use on the move in many different sectors. Thanks to its integrated high-speed printer, 2D imager, digital camera and UMTS, the handy device provides everything you need for mobile data entry and the creation of documents. When used in conjunction with the DK-approved (German Banking Sector/ZKA [Central Credit Committee]) CCV Vx670 credit card terminal, the terminal allows safe mobile payments using debit and credit cards (chip/magnetic strip) in Germany and many other European countries.
Multiple applications:
- The robust CASIO IT-9000 multifunctional terminal is ideal for use as a mobile POS for outside sales, at trade fairs, markets and delivery services. Thanks to its efficient receipt printer, the terminal is particularly suitable for ticket sales at events or in car parks and for use on the railway and at transport companies. As a result, it supports a variety of tasks where data has to be saved and receipts printed on the spot.

- The new CASIO DT-X8 is considerably more compact (280g) than the tried-and-tested DT-X30 warehouse hand-held device and much tougher than the elegant DT-X7. With this new device, CASIO is once again making its mark with values that set the benchmark for mobile computers. - The robust DT-X30R-50C hand-held terminal comes equipped with many practical features particularly suited to tough stock applications in industrial, logistics and retail environments. In addition to logistics companies, the extraordinary features offered by the DT-X30R-50C are also an ideal solution for professionals such as manufacturers with extensive storage areas. The robust housing cleverly integrates the practical function keypad for users of a 5250/3270 terminal emulation and the all-range imager with auto focus, which can read ident codes from both close up and afar. However, there is still room for other functions such as the digital camera with auto focus and LED flash for speedy image and damage documentation.
All-range imager
- The newly developed CMOS auto focus imager reads two-dimensional codes with high data volumes, such as DataMatrix, Aztec, PDF417 and even QR codes. The imager recognises all standard barcodes (depending on the line thickness) from both close up and long ranges. The imager is tilted down slightly in the housing head for an ergonomic fit. It has a laser pointer target beam and can be activated by three easily accessible scan buttons. The device is also available with an optional pistol grip, which facilitates many tasks. Audible or visual feedback confirms that the scan is correct.
2-megapixel digital camera

- The ergonomically designed DT-X7 mobile terminal boasts a powerful processor suitable for even the most demanding applications, 64 MB RAM and 64 MB F-ROM memory capacity and can be used in various mobile network environments. Integrated IrDA and Bluetooth® interface included as standard with this terminal. An internal IEEE802.11b wireless LAN module is also available as an option, enabling reliable direct connection with a server. A new model range with integrated CMOS imager is now available alongside the original version with a laser scanner. The mega speedy CMOS imager works perfectly with all complex codes such as DataMatrix, Maxicode and QR Code. Completed scans can be reported in any combination of LED, buzzer or vibration. Thanks to a series of symmetrically positioned scanning keys, the ergonomically designed DT-X7 allows both left-handed and right-handed people to operate it one-handed for hours at a time without tiring.
Power Management
- The DT-X7 is powered via the power pack and the integrated Li-Ion battery (up to 1880 mAh depending on the model). An integrated back-up battery provides additional security for user data. Human-centred Design – ergonomic, relaxed, intuitive.
- When it came to designing the DT-970, it was clear from the very beginning that the focus lay on people: The device is very comfortable to hold and has been optimised for effortless one-handed operation. The convenient balance point of the DT-970 allows the device to be held comfortably. The sophisticated design and the nonslip surface allow a relaxed and secure grip, meaning that the movements required to perform are easy to produce.
Robust, reliable and ready to use at any time
- The specifications of the DT-970 enable the device to be used easily at any location where no complex infrastructure is available. Potential applications include compiling inventories, preparing orders and checking incoming goods. In such instances, no Wi-Fi network or charging cradle infrastructure is required. Two AA alkaline batteries are all that is needed to use the device.
Drop resistant, waterproof, dustproof
- The device is able to withstand being dropped ontoconcrete from heights of up to two metres, meaning it is protected from the impacts, knocks and drops from heights that typically occur on a day-to-day basis while performing heavy-duty work. Thanks to the dust and splash protection in accordance with IP67, the device can be used in environments where many other devices would malfunction within a short time. The device can be used within a large temperature range, from -20 to +50°C, allowing outdoor use all year round or applications in cold storage locations.
Pure power for operating periods of up to 200 hours
- Thanks to a sophisticated power management system, the DT-970 is ideally suited for long-term use. Two alkaline batteries (AA) are sufficient for the device to achieve an operating period of up to 200 hours. In addition to the widely available and simple-to-replace AA batteries, the device can also be operated using rechargeable NiMH batteries.
The perfect scanning angle for each application
- Two models are available, each of which is characterised by a different scanning angle. As a result, the ideal device can be selected to match the intended application spectrum. In addition, the scannerfeatures a configurable laser-beam width, ensuring scans are performed quickly and with a minimum degree of error even while scanning barcodes that are positioned close together.
Scanning data into running applications
- The DT-970 is equipped with Bluetooth® HID – for fast and simple data transfers between the DT-970 and tablets or PCs. This functionality opens up many interesting potential applications, especially when it comes to simple data-capture processes. For example, the DT-970 can be deployed as an externally connected scanner using Bluetooth® or USB connection, allowing the operator to scan data into standard applications that are already running.
