  • Simple and robust

    ANT® uses natural structures in the environment as reference for localization thus requiring no infrastructure (no need for inductive wires, magnets, or reflectors for triangulation). ANT® can also use simple reflectors either in combination with natural structures, or even alone, providing the best solution for your setup.

    Quick to install

    ANT® driven vehicles are quickly installed with the ANT® lab tool suite, modification are even simpler. This makes all setups simple and economical to install and to maintain, no matter if it is a single vehicle or a large fleet.

    Industrial

    ANT® combines information from industrial encoders and laser scanners to reach an accuracy of ±1 cm and ±1°. ANT® even uses the data from the safety laser scanners available on your vehicle.

    Handles obstacles

    ANT® autonomously handles obstacles by either moving around them (obstacle avoidance), or adapting the speed to avoid emergency situations (path following).

        ANT® lite is born to enable service robotics applications. It delivers an autonomous navigation system for compact vehicles calculating its position and driving it.

        The product is designed to bring the vehicle or mobile robot from point A to point B. It works as client of the customer’s application, which can therefore concentrate on the value delivery to the end customer while ANT® lite is in charge of the navigation.

      • Localization & emulation of line following

        ANT® localization+ is born as retrofitting solution for line following AGVs.
        It offers localization based on features (lines and reflectors) with emulation of line following directly replacing the real antenna used by inductive wires, magnetic tapes, etc.

        This results in a line following AGV, which behaves as usual, but without any line on the floor. In the same way, ANT® localization+ provides virtual tags making the line following AGV seamlessly installed.

        ANT® localization is designed for AGV suppliers having their own control system. It makes available the localization based on features (lines and reflectors) for the vehicle suppliers who just need to know the position of the vehicle.

        The product simply returns the position coordinates of the vehicle to the main controller providing natural feature navigation in the simplest way.

      • Fleet management
        The ANT® server includes BlueBotics’ scheduler and traffic manager, the interface to the customer’s equipment, and the operator interface.The scheduler decides which vehicle has to execute a certain mission. The traffic manager takes advantage of the characteristics of ANT® to make the whole configuration process straight forward. Indeed, the graph defined for navigation is used to automatically generate the traffic rules.

        The ANT® server allows visualizing the fleet, while the monitoring application is available on many clients. Additionally, the server allows simulating a setup, which is very helpful to dimensioning a fleet of vehicles.

          So why ANT?

          • The AGV equipped with ANT® was purchased after a three days demo. Installation as part of one day and two days operation demonstrated the performance of the system.
          • Installing reflectors, inductive lines or magnets on the 70 x 40 m surface area to be covered by a single vehicle was not cost efficient. ANT® requiring no additional infrastructure allowed the realization of the project within a tight budget.

          Transportation of pallets from palletizer to stock buffer.

          • Very narrow racks to be driven in

          So why ANT?

          • Localization based on laser triangulation was impossible in the narrow racks. ANT®’s environment-based localization allowed traveling through the long and narrow racks with high precision.
          • Installing inductive lines or magnets on the 200 x 50 m surface area to be covered by a single vehicle was not cost efficient. ANT® requiring no additional infrastructure allowed the realization of the project within a tight budget.

                The mini lite vehicle is an evolution of the mini; solution, similar in terms of functionality and modularity but more adapted to “standard” environments.

                  BlueBotics firstly worked with SITA to clearly define the use case, then teamed up with designers to define the aesthetics and ergonomics before developing and producing the 3 Kate prototypes in an extremely short time.
