        The KONTI V+X i combines the technical expertise of the Kadant PAAL in one top model. Decades of experience, together with ongoing further-development have established the robust KONTI as a force to be reckoned with on the European market.

        The KONTI V+X i is a fully automatic channel bale press with pressing force of 800kN - 1950kN and bale formats of 75 x 110cm or 110 x 110cm. For special applications is a bale format of 80 x 110cm available.

        The perfect combination of high pressing force, independence from the cutting and compressing process and pre-press setting combined with individual channel adjustment makes for the highest quality baling results.

          • Tying

          • The tying unit of KONTI 500-700 V+X i is accessible via a three-sided platform with ladder. This makes maintenance and inserting of the binding wire easier.
            The fully automatic, vertical 5-fold tying system on the KONTI V i has been tried and tested in thousands of installations for many decades.
            The separate wire cutter allows you to use thicker wires. This makes it possible to produce heavier, higher quality bales.
            The bolted, replaceable wear insert of the twisting hook results in lower maintenance costs.
            Even the most difficult types of plastic can securely tied using crosswise tying (KONTI X i).

          • The over decades tried and tested knife design now offers with an optimized blade shape a significant reduction of the required cutting force. The cutting system, which is designed with a very large cutting angle and flows towards the side wall of the press chamber side wall, creates a flat bale surface and therefore very stackable bales.
            The cutting edge stamper (option), which is effective across the entire filling width, removes potential material blockages caused by foreign matter, for example. The new design of the stamper bottom enables the discharge of the pressed material. So is prevented an interrupting of the cutting operation by retained material.

          • You can easily access the very robust press chamber through large doors on both sides of the press box. This makes it easier to carry out maintenance and to clean the chamber when changing to higher-quality types of material.
            As standard, the press box of the KONTI is fitted with bolted side wall panels and with bolted highly wear-resistant steel floor plates.

          • Exact guidance of the pressure plates is ensured by generously sized rollers combined with extremely wide side guides and a central guide system. In addition, this perfect combination guarantees low wear.
            The new non-contact, positional ram measuring system allows a precise control of the movements, start and stop positions. So for each type of material it can be individually pre-selected, so that the bale length, bale weight and bale quality is optimized.

          The KONTI H i fully automatic channel bale press represents tried and tested top quality. With KONTI H i, we guarantee high loading levels in continuous operation at maximum effectivity. Its robust construction and very high pressing forces of 1200kN - 1950kN demonstrate the quality and reliability of the KONTI H i machine. Combining high pressing forces, independent cutting and compression processes and individual channel adjustment creates bales with maximum compression. The sophisticated technology and user-friendly enhancements allow the KONTI H i to be used in a wide range of applications with different materials of different qualities. Due to horizontal tying in particular, the machine is particularly useful for processing small, heavy press materials.

          • The economic channel bale press

            Kadant PAAL' evergreen press is fitted with a horizontal tying system (PACOMAT II – III) or a vertical one (PACOMAT V). The robust, fully automatic channel bale press has been a fixture on the market for more than 30 years. Pressing forces of 350kN to 800kN generate very highly compressed bales. The PACOMAT range is ideal for various qualities of waste paper, cardboard, cartons, foils, PET and many other materials.

              • The press channel is automatically controlled due to adaptation of the channel opening speed in the formula management system. A measuring wheel with two initiators generates exact bale measurements. The combination of versatile setting options allows the PACOMAT to generate highly compressed bales.
              • Tying

              • The PACOMAT I-III series balers are fitted with a horizontal wire tying system, whereas the PACOMAT V baler is supplied with a vertical one.
                The integrated wire cutter on the fully automatic tying unit makes possible rapid tying.
              • Cutting System

The new design of the stamper bottom enables the discharge of the pressed material. So is prevented an interrupting of the cutting operation by retained material.
                • Tying

                • The fully automatic 4/5-fold horizontal twine tying system of the DOKON by double-knotting ensures that bales are securely tied.
                  The separate drives for the knotter and the sickle make possible high levels of reliability and functionality.
                  Using PP tying twine instead of steel wire considerably reduces operating costs and it is easy to transport and store.
                  It reduces the risk of injuries, since no wire ends stick out of the bales and the twine hardly snaps back when you cut it.
                  In thermal recycling, there is no wire residue left in incineration plant. The twine is incinerated completely.

              • The perfect two-ram baler

                The HTR is a fully automatic, high-compression two-ram baler. Our many years of experience in compressing domestic refuse, for example, coupled with future-oriented technical innovation have established the HTR as indispensable on the baler market.

                Compressing press material with pressing force of 1200kN or 1950kN in a closed press box yields maximum bale weights. Due to the tying system that is attached separate from the compression process, disturbances because of contamination are avoided.

                  The fully automatic S1W baler is particularly suitable for pressing tin and aluminium cans into highly compressed packages.
                  These highly efficient balers are characterized by their very stable construction, their performance and their long service lives.
                  The closed, robust press box and the high pressing forces of 650 or 1200kN ensure maximum compression up to 1300 respectively up to 1600kg/m³. The pressing process is carried out against the automatic press chamber door.
                  The dimensions and weights of the pressed packages also meet steelworks specifications.

                  • The newcomer - the compact, closed end baler

                    This PAAL baler with a vertical sliding door is designed for manual strapping of the bales with wire in a horizontal direction.

                    Pressing forces from 350kN up to 650kN with a closed press chamber resulting in very high bale weights, even on difficult materials. The bale size is 75x110cm with a length of approx. 1.2m.

                    The PAC as a small footprint due to the vertical, hydraulically operated door, but still incorporates full bale ejection (very long ram stroke). The ejection of the finished bales is made easy with full bale ejection rather than machines with only partial ejection.

                      • The switch cabinet with electronic control unit - PLC Siemens S7 - is mounted at the baler to keep the size of the machine as small as possible.

                        The baler is operated via clear turn-switches and push buttons.

                        Six exchangeable material retainers, which are fixed lateral at the press chamber preventing expansive materials from backing up.

                      The chain conveyor developed by Kadant PAAL is characterized by its stable construction. Our years of experience and ongoing further-development make the chain conveyor perfectly suited for transporting all types of press material.
                      The chain belt conveyor consists of a modular frame, high vertical side pieces, robust chains with belt support profiles and a rubber conveyor belt. The chain belt conveyors have conveyor widths of 1000 to 1900mm.

                            The torsion-resistant belt support profiles accommodate the belt.
                            The trip dog brackets and T-cleats arranged at the side for sealing the belt cheek ensure ideal material transportation.
                            The chain bolts and rollers are made of hardened steel. Extremely stable link plates make it possible to operate with heavy loads.
                            To make possible environmentally friendly, cost-effective operation, the drip lubrication system is fitted with an automatically controlled solenoid valve.

                            Chain Guide
                            The bolted chain running rails and chain guiding elements in the belt curves allow easy replacement.
                            The particularly large sprockets at the deflectors are fitted with polyurethane elements (option). This significantly dampens the noise that is created when the chain enters, even at high belt speeds.

                            Control
                            The chain conveyors are fitted with Start/Stop switches on both sides and a rope-pull emergency STOP switch on the rising conveyor stand.
                            An additional rope-pull emergency STOP switch is fitted above the conveyor belt.

                            Machine Frame
                            The conveyor frame consists of a heavy, solid steel structure. The vertically mounted side pieces avoid material jams and build-ups.
                            Additional guides below the conveyor belt absorb heavy loads or jolts (horizontal part).
                            The additional, conical cheek at the top end of a conveyor belt with a "swan's neck" prevent material dropping down at the side (option).
