- PBC Linear has a wide product range. The Simplicity® bearing is the first self-lubricating and maintenance-free sliding bearing system. Uni-Guides® and Mini-Rail® linear guides are also based on the same principles as the Simplicity bearings. Redi-Rail® was the first product to combine a low-cost aluminum extrusion with a hardened steel or stainless steel shaft inserted to be used as a bearing raceway. Hevi-Rail systems carry high loads, up to 350kN! PBC Linear has a product which can meet almost any application for linear guidance.
RST - ROUND SHAFT TECHNOLOGY
Round Shaft Technology utilizes precision round shafting as the guideway and linear plain bearings for movement. RST self-lubricating linear plain bearings come in a wide variety of configurations and offer solutions for a broad range of applications. Open bearings flanged bearings and pillow blocks offer a variety of mounting configurations.
SIMPLICITY® PLAIN BEARINGS
LINEAR PLAIN BEARINGS STANDARD
PBC Linear has combined Frelon material with precision bearing technology to create SIMPLICITY® Linear Plain Bearings. SIMPLICITY® self lubricating plain bearings can move in linear, oscillating, rotary, or any combination of motions at speeds exceeding 4 m/s (165 in/s). Designed to handle loads 20 times greater than linear ball bearings, they will not catastrophically fail.
THIN-WALL BEARINGS FG, FMT
PBC Linear has combined Frelon material with precision bearing technology to create Simplicity® linear plain bearings. Simplicity self lubricating plain bearings can move in linear, oscillating, rotary, or any combination of motions at speeds exceeding 4 m/s (165 in/s). Designed to handle loads 20 times greater than linear ball bearings, they will not catastrophically fail.
FG and FMT have bearings as opposed to the standard a smaller outer diameter (thin-walled).
The SIMPLICITY ® plain bearings can cover up 20 times higher loads than ball bearings.
PBC Linear has taken a SIMPLICITY® linear plain bearing and put it into a smaller package. It's compact size offers weight advantages, as well as space saving features, while retaining the other benefits of Simplicity® plain bearing technology.
ROUND BEARING WITH HOUSING
PBC Linear has combined the Frelon material with precision bearing technology to create the Simplicity® linear plain bearing and then placed that bearing inside of a housing to create a Self-Aligning, Plain Bearing Pillow Block. Made to thrive and survive in the presence of contaminants, the self-lubricating liners offer a number of other desirable features.
FLANGE MOUNT BEARINGS
Flange Mount Plain Bearings offer the same great advantages of the SIMPLICITY® Linear Plain Bearings, incorporating a perpendicular flange for easy mounting. Flange Mount Linear Plain Bearings come in single and double length and offer round or square flanges. Flange Mount Plain Bearings are available in Imperial (inch), ISO Metric and JIS Metric versions.
The aluminum shaft is the best solution for use with the SIMPLICITY® gliding bushings (FrelonGold). The hard anodized (up to RC70) and polished surface is corrosion-resistant. The shaft is non-magnetic, shock-resistant and prevents dirt, color - and welding syringe ranking liabilities due to the smooth surface.
The aluminum shaft is a good alternative to the steel and stainless steel shaft with the above characteristics.
GST - GLIDING SURFACE TECHNOLOGY
Gliding Surface Technology adapts plain bearing design to create a simple, two-piece configuration of a rail and carriage with a self-lubricating surface. By utilizing plain bearing design, Gliding Surface Technology offers lower profiles, compact sizes, and smooth, quiet linear motion. Available options and product capabilities provide unlimited design alternatives and configurations. PBC Linear manufactures Gliding Surface Technology to perform and to withstand harsh environments while offering additional advantages.
MINI-RAIL® SYSTEM WITHOUT DRIVE
Based on Simplicity technology, the Mini-Rail® miniature linear guide systems effective two-piece design allows for fast installation and provides outstanding performance in demanding linear motion applications from semi-conductor wafer handling to packaging equipment.
With no rolling elements, Mini-Rail® will not catastrophically fail.
Mini-Rail® is a fully interchangeable and economical solution to industry standard linear guides.
MINI-RAIL® LS SYSTEM WITHOUT MOTOR
Mini-Rail® LS miniature Linear Guide Systems are lead screw driven actuators that offer an economical alternative to conventional miniature profile rail systems. Mini-Rail® LS linear guide systems are manually driven.
Frelon GOLD® plain bearings in the carriage contact the hard anodized aluminum rail to form the linear guidance mechanism. No actuator maintenance is required. The lead screws are 303 stainless steel and have a TFE coating. The polyacetal drive nut is self lubricating and pre-loaded to eliminate backlash. Frelon GOLD® bearing material allows the Mini-Rail® LS miniature linear guide systems to better withstand shock and vibration than ball bearing systems.
MINI-RAIL® MS LEAD SCREW DRIVEN WITH MOTOR
Mini-Rail® MS miniature linear guide systems are lead screw driven actuators that offer an economical alternative to conventional miniature profile rail systems. Mini-Rail® MS linear guide systems are motor driven.

UNI-GUIDE™ WITH DRIVEN MECHANISM
The Uni-Guide™ Driven System is based on the D075, D100 and D125 aluminum rail and carriage assemblies. UniGuide driven systems manual or motorized are available in custom lengths with a precision lead screw drive mechanism installed.
Low Profile Uni-Guide™ is a new compact solution for oil-free and smooth linear motion while maintaining the proven advantages of the standard Uni-Guide™. Low-Profile Uni-Guide™ employs a simple two-piece construction with angled surfaces to prevent build up of particulates and chemicals to ensure optimum performance in wash down applications.
CRT - CAM ROLLER TECHNOLOGY
Cam Roller Technology uses PBC Linear precision straight rails and a multitude of different sliders and rails to provide high accuracy and high speed linear guidance in an economical solution. Cam followers or track rollers are rolling element bearings with either an integral stud or an inseparable inner ring for yoke mounting on a pin or shaft. Cam Roller Technology is ideally suited for material handling, point-to-point, door frame guidance and automation applications. We also offer linear motion solutions for high load transfer and compact, low profile applications. To meet the needs of our customers, PBC Linear offers numerous modular components, linear guides.
REDI-RAIL® ROLLER BEARINGS AND LINEAR GUIDEWAYS
PBC Linear’s solution for high speed and moderate load linear motion. Redi-Rail® uses specifically designed cam roller sliders with our patented side adjustable pre-load option for quick fine-tuning and optimum application-fit.
The precision machined aluminum alloy rails are integrated with hardened steel races to ensure strength within a lightweight design.
Low profile Redi-Rail® has a miniscule 19mm profile and thrives in tight spaces where other linear guides cannot fit.
Composed of a lightweight aluminum anodized rail with hardened steel races for strength.
Low-Profile Redi-Rail can handle loads up to 50 kg.
The C-Rail features roll formed rails made of zinc plated steel or stainless steel; providing low cost corrosion resistant capability.

PBC Linear’s V-Guide components offer an excellent solution for linear applications ranging from very clean to the harshest environments. Considered an industry standard for linear motion, V-Guide components are an ideal versatile solution for a wide range of motion control applications.
They provide smooth and quiet travel at speeds up to 8 m/s where accuracy requirements are medium.
PBC Linear’s solution for extreme high load capacities and industrial strength handling applications. Hevi-Rail® is a heavy-duty linear bearing system that is cost effective for medium to low precision applications.

IVT - INTEGRAL-V™ TECHNOLOGY
Integral-V™ Technology (IVT) uses structural aluminum framing integrated with V-races. IVT provides a complete system built with or without structural support framework.
Hardened steel raceways are directly embedded into the Integral-V rail to eliminate fasteners and reduce mounting components. The integrated rail utilizes PBC Linear's SIMO® machining process for precise mounting and alignment on all critical sides—ensuring dimensional and rail form accuracy. This allows the IVT carriages to roll smoothly, accurately and quietly along the rail.
IVT is a perfect choice for medium format material handling, machine-tool guidance and extended length transfer applications.
Integral-V™ is the next-generation linear guide. IVT simplifies design, eases assembly and improves performance specs over the traditional methods.
Using anodized aluminum extrusions embedded with hardened steel inserts, IVT products eliminate fasteners and reduce mounting pieces by 50%.
