ComNav

Company Profile

Since 1983, ComNav Marine Ltd. has developed, manufactured and distributed marine autopilots and related accessories. Today the company ranks among the top four autopilot manufacturers in the world and is North America's premier autopilot company. ComNav builds a range of models suitable to almost any application whether a new build or retrofit. ComNav pilots may be found in fishing vessels, tugs, tankers and freighters up to 300 meters in length as well as military vessels, government fleets and ferries. For example, BC Ferries specified the ComNav 2001 for its "Century" class, the Canadian Coast Guard selected the same pilot for its new fleet of search and rescue vessels and a ComNav pilot was supplied for a Mauritanian patrol vessel. Recreational boaters also choose ComNav products for everything from runabouts to ocean going yachts. A ComNav pilot will accompany a Canadian sailor in the next around the world, single-handed sailboat race. Each ComNav product can trace its heritage back to the first autopilots that were supplied to fishermen in the Pacific Northwest. Today's pilots incorporate the same steering accuracy and dependability that made those early models successful even under the worst of conditions. The quality of ComNav products is reflected in a 36-month warranty and the company's ISO 9001 registration. And with 240 dealers in Canada and the USA plus distributors in a further 40 countries, ComNav customers have unparalleled access to warranty and service support.
