In 1926 Jensen introduced the 1st commercially available moving-coil direct radiator loudspeaker. In 1942, they introduced the 1st commercially available Coaxial 2-way loudspeaker. The first Triaxial® 3-way unitary loudspeaker was introduced in 1950, and the first flat piston woofer in 1960. In 1972 Jensen presented the high fidelity car stereo speaker and, in 1982, the 6”x9” Triax® and Coax® Thinmount Speakers. In 1996 they introduced the CD/Cassette combo head unit and in 2001, head units featuring MP3 playback capability on CD-R & CD-RW media.
