Company Profile

1958 Archiutti's business roots lie in rural Veneto at the end of the 50’. In the workshop where his father used to build bikes and motorcycles, a young Tullio Archiutti, assisted by a few apprentices, embarked on an artisan production of metal café tables and chairs. The products’ suitability for export was clear right from the start, and very soon they were being dispatched to other European countries, such as Germany, Holland and Austria. 1960 As the company’s pool of human resources grew, it found itself in need of larger premises, and so the first bricks of the current production plant were laid in Olmi. Today, the building measures around 23,000 mq. During this period, the company maintained the original craftsman’s approach, where every detail was attended to, but also gradually introduced modern machinery and equipment. The route its future development would take was emerging; new ideas were born, and new products created: tables and shelves were added, and, later on, wood was worked to fashion home and, finally, office furnishings. 1970 By the seventies Archiutti was specialised in the office sector, with an ever-improving supply and a fully automated production process. Today Archiutti's products range from executive wood desks to high-tech work stations for call centres, from mobile room dividers, to meeting room equipment, and furnishings for banks and public corporations. Every process is carried out with same care as in the old shop and every detail taken into account. Our ways guarantee the best quality, and our ISO 9001: 2000 certificate proves it. Sales recorded for 2005 were around 18 million euros, subdivided as follows: wood products made up 60%, other materials were 40%; national consumption covered 55% and exports 45% (mostly EC countries). Dividing systems made up 20% of the sales, while integrated work stations took up 35%, and individual work stations covered the remainder. Distribution in Italy is handled by authorised retailers and area agents, while abroad (mainly Europe) it is generally dealt with by leading local organisations.
