Johnson Tables

Company Profile

The company today is engaged specifically in the selling and marketing of fine contract (commercial quality) dining tables, occasional tables, and conference room furniture. Johnson Tables began operations in 1927 as a piano manufacturing company in Ottawa, Illinois. Along with the name change to Johnson Industries in 1980, the ownership of the company also changed from GP Johnson to Lester E. Johnson. It has grown dramatically since then to become nationally recognized today as a leading innovator and supplier of fine high-quality dining, occasional, and conference tables. In 1992 Falcon Products acquired Johnson Industries; in 1998 Howe/Johnson was acquired by Falcon Products.
