WIDETECH began its operation in 1984 in humble premises, but in view of the encouraging response for its products, it has acquired its present factory in Bayan Lepas, Penang in 1989. To cater for its expanding operations, Widetech's production floor space has been expanded from 24,000 sq ft. to 77,000 sq ft. presently. Widetech's correction fluid is marketed under its own brand name "Retype". The Widetech Group also includes a few other subsidiary companies which provide the synergism to facilitate Widetech into a fully integrated correction fluid producer.
