microsensys offers two new independent system solutions to measure vibration, shock events and rotations. They differ fundamentally in the areas of application and handling, although they use the same sensor core and identical RFID communication interfaces.
The new passive sensor-transponder TELID®281.3D measures 3D vibrations in a frequency range from 0 to 2.8 kHz with an acceleration resolution of only a few mg. It also analyzes radial and tangential accelerations and the speed of rotating shafts. To avoid large amounts of communication data, the small and lightweight sensor has its own integrated intelligence that evaluates 5D transients and can perform an in-situ Fast Fourier Transformation. Due to the contactless data transmission, the solution is used to advantage when monitoring the condition of moving parts such as shafts, motors, pumps, or roller bearings.
By means of a unique ID number and the existing EEPROM memory of the small and robust sensor transponder, the measuring point can be permanently identified, and readout cycles can be saved.
With the semi-passive data logger TELID®382.3D, shock events are recorded with a 3D swing over a defined period. The need for such a solution is enormous and is used in industry and logistics, in the railway sector or road construction. The events are triggered either by exceeding a preset threshold value or in preconfigured time intervals. The integrated battery, which only supplies the acceleration sensor and the real-time clock with energy, enables events to be recorded without a direct RFID communication device. After the data loggers have been collected, the data is read out using a licensed RFID reader in combination with the TELIDsoft 5.0 software solution, parameters are reinitialized, started or stopped and evaluated.
The main advantage of this solution is that it is flexible and easy to use. Based on the oscillation curve, material and environmental changes during use can be recognized at an early stage and necessary maintenance can be planned. Depending on the application, the loggers can be used for up to 3 years.
The HF, UHF and NFC capable sensor transponders from microsensys represent a product category that extends the properties of transponders to the measurement of sensory sizes. These passive wireless sensors operate without a battery and are powered solely with energy by the antenna on the reader.
The range of RFID sensor transponders has been constantly updated for years, which means a large range of products for various applications are now available. microsensys provides RFID /NFC sensor transponders as part of the TELID® 200 product range and the UHF sensor transponders as part of the TELID®400 product range. The development and manufacturing of custom-made sensor transponders is also possible.
With the TELID®200 range, you can have a combination of RFID transponders and sensors for measuring physical quantities. Here, in particular, pressure, acceleration, strain, moisture, and electric conductivity are of significant interest. Determining the situation just-in-time and storing the newly measured values in the integrated memory is one of its main functions.

TELID® 200 products do not require batteries and work with no internal energy source.
While with the TELID®200 range, most of the components are based on the D14-TAG, the Q72-TAG UHF transponders are based on the TELID®400 range. Different physical quantities such as temperature are also available here for contactless measurements, and additional features are constantly being developed.
RFID sensor transponders can be used on metallic and non-metallic sub-surfaces. TELID®400 transponders are particularly suitable for outdoor applications and where larger reader ranges are required.

Thanks to this high-quality pressure sensor and Bluetooth® connection to the Smartphone or PC, the level monitoring, avoidance of overfilling the water tank is carried out easily and with high accuracy. Android APP TELID®level sens - allows graphical and table sheet form for each beacon pair. The customer-specific setting, such as the configuration of individual measurement parameters for BEACONS, can be set using the Android APP - T700 Config Tool.

A so-called POCKET are the especial compact handheld devices that are available for mobile use. They have their own energy supply due to the battery or rechargeable battery and have an internal memory, so that no HOST is required during the direct use of RFID. The RFID read/write devices from the iID®POCKET range are small, practical handheld devices for mobile applications. They differ from the iID®PEN in their design and enhanced functionality with a display, programmable buttons and an internal event memory and real-time clock, which allow the pockets to operate without an immediately available HOST connection. The POCKET readers can be operated as a standalone device or connected via Bluetooth to a HOST.
The RFID read/write devices iID®POCKET readers are practical handheld devices for mobile applications, e.g. for maintenance, asset management, product tracking, warehouse management, and time and process monitoring.
microsensys offers several smart RFID read/write devices for office applications. These read/write devices are characterised by their small size and ease of use. Office applications can usually be identified by having a transponder that is managed manually for the RFID read/write device, for example, to free up access or to programme or read an RFID data logger. A personal computer is usually used as HOST whose USB interface is ideal for connecting these stationary RFID read/write devices. The supplied drivers enable system houses to implement easily into the respective system solution.
The iID®stick is an RFID reader with LEGIC SM-4200 or 4500 technology, extensive hardware functionality and a USB stick design. With its implemented controller, it can support numerous RF standards (including LEGIC prime and LEGIC advant). The integrated planar antenna performs reading ranges of up to 50 millimetres. Security and access applications for PCs and notebooks in offices and server rooms as well as in outdoor areas are provided via the USB 2.0 interface.
The RFID read/write devices in the iID®DESKTOP reader range are one of the most well-tested user products from microsensys and can easily be adapted in end-user devices. The iID®DESKTOPSmart was designed for office and laboratory applications. The classic iID®DESKTOP reader has a robust design. Both are particularly suitable for programming and evaluating TELID® sensor data loggers.
The M30-HEADs with their different HOST interfaces are one of the most established reader module ranges from microsensys. Designed for high-speed transponder communication, these readers can be used in harsh industrial conditions. Assembling them is made easier with the two already integrated sleeves. Using an adapted design, the components of the new M18-HEAD product range are available for HF and UHF applications.
The RFID industry read/write devices from microsensys support use in harsh environments. These readers are ideal for applications such as industrial automation, product control, tool management, tracking, or general product labelling and integration into existing processes. As HF or UHF versions, these readers have an integrated antenna or allow external antennas to be connected.
RFID read/write devices for special requirements
microsensys offers a wide range of miniaturised and high-performance RFID OEM modules. These modules perform basically the same function as a read/write device, but can easily be integrated by the user into their own devices. The RFID antenna is usually already included in the OEM modules, which means the space required for these modules is very small and the modules can easily be mounted. For integration into hand-held computers from different manufacturers, specially adapted OEM modules have been developed which are mechanically and electronically tailored to the handheld computer.
OEM modules such as the UNI13 iID® module are best suited for applications such as industrial automation, product and process control, tool management, tracking, or general product labelling.
As HOST interfaces, I2C-bus, RS232-5V, USB and other interfaces are offered depending on the module. The OEM modules are especially characterised by their low power consumption.
