  • Would you like to heat in an environmentally-friendly manner with stored solar energy and save money at the same time?

    Dimplex heat pumps are being implemented in buildings in increasing numbers for heating and domestic hot water preparation. This is because the future belongs to environmentally-friendly heating systems. Heat pumps have extremely low operating costs because they draw the majority of the required energy from the environment and are not dependent on oil or gas for operation.
    As a system provider, the Dimplex product range also includes heat pumps which can additionally be used in summer for cooling.
      • Air-to-water outdoor

      • Install your heat pump directly at the heat source

        As a cold heating media, air-to-water heat pumps can also be installed outdoors without hesitation. Powder-coated panel assemblies perfectly protect your Dimplex heat pump against rain and snow. Redundant frost protection functions maintain the operability of your heat pump even at sub-zero outdoor temperatures.
      • Air-to-water indoor

      • Dimplex air-to-water heat pumps fit into nearly any room in your cellar.

        Our groundbreaking technology combines extremely high energy efficiency with a space-saving design and low noise emissions. The air is guided through special air ducts or air duct hose sets.
      • Brine-to-Water

      • Dimplex brine-to-water heat pumps utilise free energy which is transferred via a heat exchanger to a mixture of anti-freeze and water, the so-called brine.

        Various systems are available as a heat source
        Ground heat collectors are laid horizontally; nothing may be constructed on top of them. The heat exchangers consist of pressure-resistant pipes laid approx. 1.20 below ground level.
        If there is not enough horizontal space or if additional cooling is required, borehole heat exchangers are drilled vertically into the ground.
        Numerous companies produce waste heat which can be utilized by bringing it to a higher temperature level using brine-to-water heat pumps.
      • Water-to-Water

      • Water-to-water heat pumps extract the required heat from the tempered ground water with temperatures between +7 °C and 12 °C even in winter. A highly effective heat pump heating system can be achieved by combining a Dimplex water-to-water heat pump with a low-temperature heating system. A prerequisite is that the water taken from a well is available in adequate quality and volume and that it is approved by the local water authority.
      • Fan convectors

      • At first glance, fan convectors may look like conventional radiators, but they can do so much more. In heat pump systems they are ideal for reaching the desired room temperatures even when combined with low temperature heating systems. Efficient and cost-saving operation of the heat pump is thus possible during heating operation, as reducing the flow temperature by just 1 °C results in a reduction of heating costs of approx. 2.5%. The improvement in heat output when compared to radiators is achieved thanks to the active air circulation.
      • Hot Water Heat Pumps

      • Domestic hot water heat pumps from Dimplex offer a flexible solution for low-cost domestic hot water preparation in new builds and in existing buildings. They cover hot water consumption all year round and extract up to 70% of the energy required for heating from the surrounding air or waste heat from indoor air.

      From a human point of view, the energy provided by the sun is unlimited. In Germany, the sun provides approximately 1000 kWh per square metre every year.
      Everyone knows that the energy provided by coal, gas and oil is limited. Rising energy demands and declining resources lead to a continuous increase in energy costs.
      At the same time, environmental compatibility and the reduction of CO2 emissions are becoming increasingly important.
      Solar-thermal systems are a cost-effective and environmentally-friendly way to supplement domestic hot water preparation.
      In combination with environmentally friendly and sophisticated thermal technology, solar-thermal systems can be used both for supplementary heating and for domestic hot water preparation.
        • Solar collectors

        • Dimplex SOLC 180 and SOLC 220 solar collectors

          Dimplex solar collectors are part of the newest generation of solar collectors and combine efficiency, easy installation, long service life and modern design. Solar radiation is collected reliably and efficiently, and is then utilised for heating the transfer medium. The different collector designs of the SOLC 180 and the SOLC 220 are suitable for both smaller and larger collector surfaces. This makes compact domestic hot water preparation and efficient supplementary heating with a larger collector surface possible.
          The collectors can, of course, be mounted either horizontally or vertically. Furthermore, different installation systems enable mounting on both conventional and flat roofs as well as free-standing installation.

              High-performance flat plate collector for roof mounting, flat-roof or free-standing installation, highly selective, coated and laser-welded full-surface absorber. The universal-use collector is suitable for use with larger surfaces, as well as individual installation. The connections enable quick and hydraulically safe installation. The operation takes place with pre-mixed SOLHT 20 solar fluid and provides the necessary frost protection. The collector casing is made of anthracite-coloured, powder-coated aluminium. The structured solar safety glass provides reliable protection for the absorber.

          • Safe filling and de-aeration
            Correct hydraulic integration of the solar collectors into the heating system is important for the efficiency of the solar system. The system must be correctly filled and de-aerated during start-up for optimum circulation of the heat transfer medium in the solar circuit between the collectors and the heat exchanger of the cylinder.

            Maximum energy yield with Dimplex solar stations
            Dimplex solar stations allow easy circulation of the heat transfer medium in the solar circuit. They contain all the components which are essential for the hydraulic circuit, as well as provisions for proper flushing, filling and de-aeration of the system. This guarantees a maximum energy yield.

                (up to 12 m² collector surface)

              • Two-pipe solar station for up to 12 m² collector surface, pre-mounted as a connecting element between the collector field and the domestic hot water cylinder with integrated heat exchanger for solar fluid, consisting of a 3-level standard pump (WILO-STAR ST 20/6), all-metal dial thermometer in flow and return, flow rate display 1–20 l/min, 6 bar safety valve, 0–6 bar high temperature proof pressure gauge, gravity control in flow and return, integrated air scoop for continuous air extraction during operation, integrated purging and filling unit, elastic insulated casing (EPP), wall mounting with sheet-steel wall bracket, ¾" flat-sealing connections.
              • SOLPU Vsolar station
                (up to 22 m² collector surface)

              • Thermally insulated two-pipe solar station, pre-mounted, serves as connecting element between the collector field and the domestic hot water cylinder. Dial thermometer in flow and return, 6 bar safety valve, permanent breather for continuous air extraction during operation, integrated purging and filling unit, suitable for wall mounting.
                The SOLPU V solar station is equipped with a valve block that causes less pressure drop in comparison to typical gravity controls for conventional solar stations. This way, nearly the entire pump output is available for capacity. Sediments in conventional gravity controls lead to unwanted circulation of the heat transfer fluid, which causes the solar cylinder to cool down. The electrically activated valve block on the SOLPU V guarantees that circulation is reliably blocked.
              • SST 25solar station with external heat exchanger
                (up to 10 m² collector surface)

              • Heat exchanger solar station consisting of a solar separation system and a pump module with insulation jackets for integrating solar energy systems up to 10 m² in the hot water heating. The use of the solar station means that efficient hot water heating can be achieved via the heat pump and via the solar system. Modules with primary and secondary circuit consist of: 2 circulating pumps (WILO-STAR-ST 25/6 and STAR-RS 24/4); 4 ball valves 1“ with thermometer, return inhibitor, safety module with safety valve and pressure gauge 0-10 bar, connection option for expansion vessel (solar controller not included in the scope of supply).
