SFOGGIA was founded in 1956 by Antonio Sfoggia and his son Narciso. They began by manufacturing irrigation and water supply tubing and specialized equipment for the food industry.After a few years of production experience, Narciso's entrepreneurial drive was attracted to the agricultural machinery industry. In the 1970's SFOGGIA moved into a 10.000sq.m manufacturing plant and began simultaneously in the projection and construction of pneumatic seed machines for corn and vegetable and planters for small vegetable plants. Over the years, the Sfoggia line of quality products continued to grow and satisfy the costumer needs and the demands of the agriculture market.
Today Sfoggia Agriculture Division S.r.l. is one of the leading manufacturers in the world for pneumatic seeders, pneumatic seed drilling machines, hoeing machines and planters. Sfoggia presently has distribution points all over the world including Europe, North and South America, Asia and Africa. The exports account for more than 70% of Sfoggia's annual sales which further attests to their strong emphasis and success in foreign markets.
