      • Problem solved!
        For years, the fundamental issue of maintaining lifetime vacuum in the reference chamber of a micro sensor reminded a huge challenge. In the mid-nineties, Sensonor introduced an anodic wafer bonding technology with electrical crossings buried under an epitaxial layer. This solution secures both the hermetic reference chamber and as well provides a stable inert environment for the sensing system being piezo resistors or capacitive electrodes.
        Less than 0.1ppm failure rate for several 100 million sensors tells the rest of the story. These unique solutions are now made available for general applications in the ranges 0.5 to 20 bars.
    • Gyro products

    • The STIM series gyro modules consists of 1, 2 or 3 ultra-high accuracy ButterflyGyroTM in a miniature package representing a superior choice to FOG's in respect to robustness, reliability, size/weight, power and cost.

      The simplicity of use is high; connect power and the STIM gyro module will provide accurate measurements over the RS422 interface. An integrated 32-bit microcontroller provides flexibility in the configuration, like choice of output unit, sampling frequency, filter settings and RS422 bit-rate and protocol parameters.

      Electronic axis alignment is a standard feature. For advanced users the Service Mode provides the users access to intermediately or permanently setting all configuration parameters. Features like electronic ID and advanced diagnostics with temperature measurement and supply voltage measurement are available.

        • STIM202

        • STIM202 is a shock capable, tactical grade, affordable, robust and reliable, ultra high performance (Bias Stability 0.5°/h, ARW 0.20°/√h) MEMS gyro module with up to 3 axes. An integrated 32-bit microcontroller enables flexible user configuration.

          STIM202 is designed with internal shock absorbers for operation in environments with high shocks. It is capable for direct mounting on a range of firing defense applications like remote weapon stations(RWS).

        • STIM300 Inertial Measurement Unit

        • STIM300 is a small, tactical grade, low weight, high performance non-GPS aided Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU). It contains 3 highly accurate MEMS gyros, 3 high stability accelerometers and 3 inclinometers. The IMU is factory calibrated and compensated over its temperature operating range.

          STIM300 is a cost effective ITAR free solution for systems that only had FOG's as an alternative when reaching for the performance level of that STIM300 can offer.

          Application areas
          The STIM300 IMU is well suited for stabilization, guidance and navigation applications in Industrial, Aerospace and Defense markets. It is a crucial building block for inertial navigation systems in UAVs, AUVs, AGVs, UGVs and ROVs.

          STIM300 is also used for camera turret stabilization and for use in various handheld devices that require a small IMU to secure operations during GPS outage.

      • Pressure dies

      • Sensonor offer a range of small and robust absolute pressure sensor dies. The product range utilizes Sensonor's patented anodic wafer bonding technology with electrical crossings buried under an epitaxial layer. The bulk micromachined triple stack solution results in excellent media compatibility. Piezoresistors are buried inside the pressure diaphragm on opposite side of media access and will therefore never be in contact with measurement media. This design makes the sensors robust in harsh environment applications, with superior stability and performance over long lifetime compared to many traditional MEMS sensor designs.
