                • Windshield Label

                  The RFID Windshield Label serves for the automatic, contactless identification of vehicles (Automatic Vehicle Identification, AVI). The label is adhered to the inside of the windshield. The development of the RFID Windshield Label was focused on a very high read range, thanks to special antenna behind glass and a passive function without battery. Tag authentication using AES coprocessor and 128-bit AES unique crypto key. Privacy protection via untraceable command and 128-bit AES group crypto key. Trust Provisioning of Secure Secrets. The label material is a combination of PP and PET layer extra security die-cuts improve security against removal and re-use.

                • Headlamp Tag

                • HLT UCODE DNA MONOLABEL | HLT-TP-K-C-7XM-M

                  The RFID headlamp tag serves for the automatic, contactless identification of motorcycles and vehicles (Automatic Vehicle Identification, AVI). The label is adhered to the outside of the headlamp. The development of the RFID headlamp tag has been focused on a very high read range due to the special antenna on the headlamp and a passive function without a battery. The UCODE DNA tag authentication uses an AES coprocessor and a 128-bit AES unique crypto key. The privacy protection of this tag is realised via an untraceable command and 128-bit AES group crypto key.

                  To protect the personalisation, both tags consists of two layers. The label material of the UCODE DNA tag is a combination of a hologram and PET layer, the label material of the the UCODE 7xm tag is a PET layer. The extra fragile antenna layer improves security against removal and re-use.

                • Multi-Surface Transponder

                  The universal multi surface transponders from Kathrein are designed to be insensitive to the materials to which they are attached. Equally good performance is expected on both metal and non-metal items. With their robust structure they can be used successfully in harsh environments and have a high class of destruction resistance. With the UCODE DNA the transponders offer combination of long range UHF RFID performance coupled with cryptographic security functionality for tag authentication.

              • RTLS - Real-time localization with UWB

            • The Kathrein Solutions real-time localization system "K-RTLS" combines high localization accuracy in industrial environments with unique technical features that enable it to be used in a wide range of applications. Precise monitoring of manufacturing progress in the production environment or a transparent material flow in intralogistics are just two of many possible applications. The real-time data available with the RTLS on the location and status of objects forms the basis for networking processes in the value chain.

                    • Kathrein Solutions Real Time Locating System Node RTLS-N-1000 sets a new IoT standard for locating and tracking solutions. The node is permanently installed as a stationary anchor and serves as a reference and measuring point for the transponders involved. All nodes involved in the process deliver their localization results to CrossTalk or a software for evaluation based on the Kathrein RTLS API. In T modewhere Way Ranging a final end point is determined with high precision. In mode Time Difference of Arrival the current position of the transponder is recorded and this intermediate position is permanently tracked in order to create a movement profile.

                    • RTLS transponder

                    • Kathrein Solutions Real Time Locating System Transponder RTLS-T-1000 offers a localization accuracy of up to 25cm. Two operating modes are available. The Two Way Ranging (TWR) mode enables a very high localization accuracy, whereas the Time Difference of Arrival (TDoA) mode impresses with a very high battery life. The unique combination of UWB (Ultra Wide Band) with RAIN RFID and NFC technology in a robust IP67 housing enables simple and seamless integration into existing AutoID infrastructure. The RFID UHF tag is used for detection up to 10m, while the RFID NFC tag can be used for near field detection and smartphone communication to read simple data or overwrite existing values.
                  • Apps & Software

                        • RTLS Wizard Demo Software

                        • With the RTLS Wizard software, we provide a very simple and intuitive demo application that enables the Kathrein RTLS system to be put into test and demo operation within a few minutes. Using the RTLS Wizard software, object movements and the corresponding visualization can be displayed. It is also possible to integrate the floor plan of the test room. RTLS Wizard is not software for productive operation. For a productive application, we recommend Kathrein CrossTalk or the integration of our system into comparable systems using the available API.
                        • RTLS!Start test and parameterization software

                        • The RTLS!Start test and parameterization software allows you to run the entire system in test mode and configure all parameters and settings. For example, the three different localization methods (ToF, TDoA, AoA) can be selected and tested for suitability for your application. The tool can also be used to update firmware versions and load configurations. RTLS!Start does not serve as software for productive operation, for a productive application we recommend Kathrein CrossTalk or the integration of our system into comparable systems using the available API.
                        • Profinet IO app

                        • The Profinet IO app enables the integration of a reader into an industrial BUS environment; the reader acts as an IO device. A valid license key is required to run the app. License keys (a full license or time-limited demo license) are bound to the specific reader on which the application is running. To obtain a license key, the hardware key provided by the application is required.
                        • Low Level Reader Protocol-App

                        • RFID readers from Kathrein are optionally available with an LLRP (Low Level Reader Protocol) stack, which can be installed as an LLRP app. All readers with an integrated embedded Linux operating system can be controlled via LLRP 1.0.1 port 5084 for easier integration. To specify air interface commands between readers and clients, LLRP is a ratified standard protocol from EPCglobal.

                          Please note that Smart Reader Mode cannot be used with the Low Level Reader Protocol app!

                        • Automated Vehicle Identification (AVI) is one of the key markets that Kathrein Solutions focuses on. AVI includes MultiLane free-flow identification, tolling and parking applications. AccessManager, the software for parking and access control applications, offers solutions for simple white-list management and the control of barriers or other digital inputs and outputs (GPIO).
                        • CrossTalk RFID Software

                        • CrossTalk RFID Software - Flexible intelligence for AutolD and IoT

                          Efficient AutolD systems for automatic object identification and data capture as well as systems for the Internet of Things (IoT) require excellent hardware and at least equally excellent AutolD and IoT software. In addition to the hardware, we offer you such a software solution: the CrossTalk Software Suite.

                        • TagBlower-App

                        • The TagBlower app can read tags asynchronously and generate messages when a tag enters or leaves the read field. The application provides a server on a configurable port to which TCP clients can connect to receive these messages. The message format can be defined by the user by setting an incoming and/or outgoing datagram. A datagram consists of normal text and keywords.
                        • ReaderStart

                        • Kathrein provides the "ReaderStart" test and configuration software free of charge with every reader, which can be used to easily start application developments. All management parameters of the reader, such as setting the IP address, as well as all RFID-specific values can be configured in order to prepare the reader for the respective application. By using predefined templates, such as gate applications for goods or access control for vehicle/person identification, an RFID reading result can be achieved very quickly, even if no application software is yet available. The ReaderStart software is virtually the universal tool for the use of RAIN RFID readers from Kathrein Solutions.
