  • Walter Maschinenbau GmbH with headquartes in Tubingen produces CNC machines for grinding and eroding as well as laser processing metal, wood and PCD tools as well as rotationally symmetrical production parts.

    The production program is complemented by optical CNC measuring machines for non-contact complete measurement of complex precision tools and rotationally symmetrical parts with logged accuracy in one clamping.

    WALTER tool grinding machines are used to produce and re-sharpen tools. Our machine tools can handle complex tool geometries and allow you to re-sharpen tools. Our CNC grinding machines are world-class tool grinders for production and re-sharpening, from entry-level model to high-end solution.

      • HELITRONIC RAPID

      • The new entry-level machine

        The HELITRONIC RAPID tool grinding machine with C.O.R.E. technology is a tool grinding machine with 5 CNC-controlled axes specially designed for the resharpening and production of milling cutters, drills, step drills, step tools, woodworking tools, profile knives and profile tools.

        Diameter range 1 to 16 mm for production and 3 to 100 mm for resharpening, machining length up to 255 mm, unit weight up to 30 kg.

      • HELITRONIC G 200

      • COMPACT - ACCURATE - RELIABLE

        The HELITRONIC G 200 tool grinding machine impresses with an innovative machine concept with a footprint of less than 2,3 sqm. The machine offers tool grinding at its best: Production and re-sharpening of rotationally symmetrical tools in the diameter range of 1 to 125 mm, with a maximum tool length of 235 mm and a tool weight up to 12 kg. Maximum grinding wheel diameter is 150 mm.

      • High-end for smaller Tool diameter

        The tool grinding machine HELITRONIC MICRO with C.O.R.E.-Technology produces and sharpens rotationally symmetrical tools and production parts with smaller diameters. It grinds tools from a diameter of  0.1 mm in production and in re-sharpening operation from a diameter of 3 mm. The maximum diameter is 12.7 mm, the tool length isup to 220 mm and the piece weight is up to 12 kg.

      WALTER tool eroding machines can erode tools made of PCD and CBN and grind tools made of carbide and high speed steel, all in one alternating stream. The combined processing of complex geometries in one clamping saves time and increases accuracy.

It handles tools with a diameter of 1 to 165 mm, a tool length up to 185 (255) mm and a piece weight of up to 30 kg.
