      • The ENDURA® 600LINEAR is a state-of-the-art linear motor gantry milling machine in portal construction with 5 CNC-controlled simultaneous axes. It is especially suited for the rational finish-machining from 5 sides of workpieces made of clay, plastics, composite materials (carbon fibre reinforced plastic, glass fibre reinforces plastic), model making block material (ureol) and HSC-machining of aluminium.       • The ENDURA® 700LINEAR is a state-of-the-art 5-axis milling machine in compact portal construction with linear motor drive technology and 5 CNC-controlled simultaneous axes. This machine tool is especially suited for the rational finish-machining from 5 sides of work pieces made of plastics, composite materials (carbon fibre reinforced plastic, glass fibre reinforced plastic), model making block material (ureol) and aluminium, as well as HSC-machining of cast iron and steel materials.

      • GANTRY MILLING MACHINE ENDURA® 900LINEAR

      • The latest generation in ENDURA® gantry milling machines has been designed with an overhead travel portal and is based on already extremely successful conventional ENDURA® products. The use of linear drive motors in our 5-axis milling machines eliminates the need for many mechanical elements such as gears, bearings, ball screws and rack gears, thereby enhancing structural rigidity, reliability and precision in particular.

        Modular and fast – ENDURA® gantry milling machine

        Acceleration rates of up to 5 m/s², closed loop system reinforcements of 5 m/(min x mm) and a maximum deviation of 0.015 mm impressively reflect the power and precision of this 5-axis milling machine. As well as being as accurate and achieving the same surface quality as conventional gantry milling machines, this machine is up to 50% faster. The KV factor of 5-7 m/(min x mm) is a clear indication of the machine's productivity; with conventional drive technology, the KV factor is generally approximately 1-3 m/(min x mm).

      • The linear motor drive technology has already impressively proven itself in many machines from FOOKE GmbH's product range. Therefore, we deliberately opted for this drive technology once again with the ENDURA® 1000LINEAR travelling column milling machine. The machine concept of the FOOKE ENDURA® tool milling machine is particularly suitable for high-speed machining of large-volume workpieces.       • TOOL MILLING MACHINE ENDURA® 7000LINEAR

      • The ENDURA® 7000LINEAR is an overhead tool milling machine, specially designed for the heavy-duty rough machining of solid and high-strength materials. It has a dimensionally stable and compact design. This not only means a large processing volume with a relatively small footprint, but also that the machine does not need to be placed on foundations.

        This compact tool milling machine ENDURA® 7000LINEAR was specially developed for the tool and mould construction, for a highly productive roughing, semi-finishing and finishing application of the customary high-strength materials.

        Due to its high-dynamic features, the machine is particularly suitable for the high-efficiency machining in the field of 2,5 D, that is to say, for processing ruled geometries, cutting contours, pockets, surfaces, drill holes, threads and spindle operations. In the field of 3D, the ENDURA® 7000LINEAR offers highest dynamics in its class, both in 3-axes as in 5-axes machining, from roughing to high precision processing with best surface results and an excellent dimensional accuracy.

         During the machine’s new development, our top priority was the well-known, FOOKE-typical aspect of “excellent quality of motion control, coupled with highest accuracy of the Tool Center Point”

        The use of linear motors in specially designed machine structural elements enables the machine to be optimally controlled, minimises contouring errors and offers the highest line speeds. This gives rise to excellent motion dynamics, especially with inconstant geometric pathways.

        The robust and weight-optimised design coupled with the use of vibration-damping casting materials in suitable structural components means that the vibrational excitations caused by the milling process and the directional-change-induced movements are vastly reduced/dampened.

        • Design of the machine:: 
          machine bed (X-axis), travel beam (Z-axis) and cross slide made in solid casting; side walls and gantry (Y-axis) as steel-welded construction.
        • Assembly of machine without foundation: 
          Due to the self-supporting machine bed, a standard industrial floor (reinforced with steel), approx. 300 mm thick, is sufficient for the assembly of the machine. A special foundation is not necessary. The machine is set up and aligned by means of fixations which are bolted down to the floor.

          Water-cooled linear motors in the linear axes (X, Y and Z), X-axis carried out as GANTRY-pair of axes.

      • PLATE MILLING MACHINE ENDURA® 800

      • Highly dynamic and precise efficient milling machine in portal construction with two CNC controlled axis for rational machining of big sized aluminium plates of up to 3,000 mm x 6,000 mm.

        Features, technique and equipment:

        • portal (stationary): 
          pylons and Y-axis made of high-absorption hydropol concrete with steel core insert for taking up the Z-axis slide.
        • machine bed: 
          the machine bed consists of a welded steel construction cast with special concrete, linear guides and a T-slot table. Max. table load approx. 10 to.
        • z-axis slide: 
          designed as a low strain, annealed welded steel construction, hydraulic weight compensation, clamping unit for vibration damping, advance angle to prevent undercuts.

        Axis drive technology:

        air-cooled digital motors engage with the steering rack via  a pinion gear mechanism. The motors are designed as  gantry drives with master/slave.

        Guiding of linear axes:

        the linear axes are equipped with generously dimensioned, hardened and grinded, pre-tensioned, linear guide elements.

        Working area enclosure, noise-insulating:

        the working area is enclosed from all sides, open at the top, with doors at the front and back (at least 1 meter wide) with laminated glass windows.

        Machine table features and technique:

        the machine bed consists of a steel welded construction poured by special concrete. The machine table travels along the X-axis and consists of a high-absorption cast steel construction with T-slots for taking up the vacuum clamping plate (customer interface).

            Demanding workpieces require demanding solutions. To provide these, we not only develop the machine required for the machining work, but also workpiece clamping systems specially tailored to the workpiece either as hard tooling systems or universal ‘multi-tooling clamp systems’. We supply turnkey solutions, all from one single source. 

            The high-performance chipping of aluminium or titanium and the machining of CFRP and other compound materials require different milling machines and machining centres – if desired, including hybrid process technology, such as abrasive water jet cutting or laser cutting and milling combined in one single system.

            Surface quality and precision are the key requirements in the fields of model, prototype, tool and mould building. Machines have to be able to rationally and reliably work different materials, from rigid foam to alloy tool steel. FOOKE makes this possible with high-performance, highly dynamic 5-axis milling machines.

            Models and prototypes in particular, but also tools and moulds, are today machined with the smallest stepovers in linear format. This partially occurs in a classic 3+2 mode but increasingly also as a 5-axis simultaneous process. With this type of machining, the programmed feed speed has to be kept virtually constant yet also at the highest level. The maximum rigidity of the machine’s structural elements and the feed drives are the essential basis for surface quality and precision coupled with outstanding productivity.

            Our many years of experience and consistent further development, with our ‘finger constantly on the market’s pulse’, have enabled us to develop a wide range of machines that meets almost any requirements.
