    • As environmentally friendly energies gain importance, the efficiency and cost of their production and transportation becomes critical. The SÖHNER MEGAPACK systemsare our contribution to the new generation of intelligent packaging for the photovoltaic industry.

      Our custom-made pallet box systems for the solar panel transport provide an optimal and secure packaging solution. The collapsible and reusable design allows for a 60% volume reduction. The empty MEGAPACK (pallet, collapsible sleeve, interior and lid) remain together as one unit. The system can be used instantly and without additional picking.
    • TRAY FOR AUTOMATION

    • High-precision thermoformed parts made of ABS allow a precise positioning and a secure placement at the automated production. Additionally the work pieces are optimally protected during internal transfer or shipping.
    • SOLAR PANEL HANDLING

    • The rapid and sure handling of solar panels is one of the main requirements at the automated production to achieve and ensure an efficient manufacturing process. The IPR solar panel gripper is made of hardcoated aluminium F53. With only a few system modules, the gripper frame enables a customised adaption to the given panel. The solar panel is picked with the use of vacuum cups arrayed on a panel gripper. Through the use of the TK-tool changer system the solar panel gripping unit is compatible with all  types of robots.

      The IPR solar panel gripping unit is a light but very stiff system. Cracks in the panel which can result from its handling, are avoided through the material´s high rigidity. The gripping unit is designed in a way that ensures that no settling occurs and therefore the alignment during long term usage is guaranteed.
    • EDGE TRIMMING

    • The edge trimming gripper consists of a fixated lateral alignment device KA-125 for touching the panel and a2-jaw-parallel gripper IRP-17 to hold the cutting blade. In addition the tool changer system TK- 125-R provides the possibility to dock further  toolings.
