The VISOR® Allround is a real multi-talent among vision sensors. In the allround version, the device unites the functions of the VISOR® Object (i.a. calibration, pattern matching, contour, calliper, BLOB) with
the powerful tools of the VISOR® Code Reader (bar code, datamatrix and optical character recognition).
In addition to the monochrome version, the VISOR® Allround is also available as a colour version with up to 1.5 megapixel. Thus additional "Detectors" are available for colour evaluation. Even the subtlest nuances in shade can be reliably detected. The relevant object colours, for example, can be taught-in quite simply by push of a button or - thanks to the intuitive colour histogram - set graphically for each channel in the colour space. The authorised colour tolerances can be defined by the user.
The VISOR® detects the right part in the wrong place – and vice-versa.
Objects with complex shapes and details that also occasionally turn up in unexpected positions – a classic switching sensor would be totally out of its depth with such detection tasks. Not the VISORÂ® object detection sensor from SensoPart: it always keeps track of everything, instantaneously detecting defective parts and parts in the wrong position, angular orientation or sequence (or a combination of all of these). With its highly accurate detection of position and orientation, the VISORÂ® is one of the best in its class. With its high processor power, its expanded field-of-view (Wide VGA) and its very bright LED illumination, it masters almost all current image-processing tasks.

Pattern comparison, contour detection, brightness detection, grey threshold detection and contrast detection. Position tracking allows reliable detection of such features even if they are not accurately and repeatedly in the taught-in position. The Vision code reader for printed, punched and
Identification of products, components or packaging from printed or directly marked – punched or laser-etched – codes is common practice in many sectors of industry today. The Vision code reader from SensoPart immediately detects which par t is in front of it: it can easily read numerous types of barcodes as well as printed and directly marked data matrix codes according to ECC 200 standard, and this on any base (metal, plastic, paper, glass). The sensor can even routinely decipher askew or warped codes or codes on convex, reflective or transparent surfaces.

The Vision solar sensor can detect minimal contour defects (2 x 2 pixels). Evaluation of subpixels enables a further increase in inspection accuracy.
Silicon wafers are only a few tenths of a millimetre thick and very brittle, which means that damage during the production process can never be completely excluded. This is no problem, provided it is detected early on!
