Robo3DVision, a robotics software engineering department that specializes in building advanced robot vision systems, is a division of AIC S.A. (manufacturing company) based in Gdynia, northern Poland. Robo3DVision has developed innovative Adaptive Vision System to fully control the robotized tube-to-tubesheet welding, as well as a set of advanced calibration tools for calibrating TCP, cameras, distance sensors and laser line scanners. Robo3DVision is about to start implementing a new Intelligent Vision System based on a 3D scanner and artificial intelligence to control any robotized process. History The history of the Robo3DVision started in early 2006, when the very first version of the Adaptive Vision System for controlling a robotized welding of simple tubesheets was built to support the production at AIC S.A. Almost 3 years of hard work have resulted in the release of a new version of the Adaptive Vision System, which is now a powerful and flexible tool for the robotized tube-to-tubesheet welding, suitable for all kind of tubesheets. Robo3DVision team has also developed a set of advanced calibration tools, and is about to start implementing an Intelligent Vision System for controlling a robot to support any technological process.
