PIV has always been a much sought-after partner due to its extensive knowledge, technical excellence and experience across an extensive number of fields of industry. Now, following the recent acquisition in 2002, by Brevini Riduttori, a company of the worldwide Brevini Group, and a European market leader, PIV Drives is even more strongly resourced to seek new global opportunities and to open up new markets - CVT transmissions for mobile applications, for example - using the extensive facilities of the worldwide Brevini network.
In PIV’s general activities also, the increased strength provided by the co-operation with Brevini enables PIV Drives to be better able to meet the needs of its national and international customers and to support its operations with a highly comprehensive worldwide service, including maintenance, repair and spare parts supply.
Seventy years on, PIV Drives GmbH is better prepared than at any time in its history to meet the technological challenges of power transmission as they unfold. Substantial investment in computer aided design (CAD), modern manufacturing machines and processes such as advanced hardening, backed up by laboratory research facilities, market leading quality assurance systems and quality certifications DIN ISO 9001 and ADWO, are some of the major reasons why.
