            The Summit-Series is Mold-Masters’ new, premium hot runner line. The stainless steel hot runner system runs with 4 times less thermal variation from setpoint, compared to the typical thermal variation seen in a nozzle with a heater band. With less than 5% temperature variation, this nozzle series is ideal for molding shear and temperature sensitive resins like PC, POM and PBT. The nozzle profile is especially effective for medical market molding where precision is tantamount.             Available with our Master-Series line of nozzles and a variety of valve gating options, the Accu-Line Single Nozzle System boasts an industry-best heat profile and optimal gate longevity resulting in better part quality. The inline actuator unit is fully integrated within the stationary machine platen. This reduces stack height and required mold backing plate material by up to 2/3’s.

            The Femto-Lite is an 11 mm wide hot runner nozzle ideal for small closures, flip-top caps, personal care and multi-material / multi-colour products. Engineered for applications requiring inside gating and tight pitch designs, its 19 mm pitch and a flange to tip heat profile make it suitable for a wide variety of thermoplastic resins.

            Femto-Lite Valve Gate

            The Femto-Lite has a no-compromise valve gate solution for molds with tight pitches or inside gating.

            The smallest valve gate with the largest bore, ensuring reduced pressure drop:

            • 12 mm gate access
            • 6 mm flow channel
            • Flange and pin (2.5 mm) designed for strength with removable valve gate seals.

            FEATURES

            • A 3.5 mm runner diameter and 12 mm well bore make Femto-Lite suitable for close gate-to-gate spacing.

          • MELT-CUBE

          • Mold-Masters® innovative Melt-CUBE technologies provides precise cavity-to-cavity balance, excellent vestige control, easy start-ups and low injection pressures for a variety of crystalline and amorphous side gating applications.

            The Melt-CUBE allows for higher pitch density compared to other designs and easy tip replacement in the press. The patent pending design also enables faster cycles and pristine gates with an additional temperature control zone at the gate. The minimized gate to parting-line distance offers an optimal thermal condition. The design offers simultaneous gating of 2 to 16 cavities and is able to process engineering grade resins. The Melt-CUBE has tips angled at 15, 30, 45 and 60 degree from horizontal. Melt-CUBE is an ideal solution for medical molding applications such as syringes and pipettes.

          • For synchro-plate solutions, when pitch is too tight between cavities, use single individual actuators. E-Drive provides power cleanliness and precision of a servo motor all in a compact, energy-efficient footprint.

            E-Drive is the commercially viable electric valve gating solution designed for multi-cavitation and precision molding applications in clean room and oil-free environments.

            Its valve pin plate concept utilizes the full capabilities of servo technology without any compromise in speed or force. The servo motor’s power is transmitted to the valve pin plate by a timing belt and two ball screws resulting in precise linear motion to open and close the gates.

            The easy-to-use E-Drive controller ensures precise set-up and full motion control. Absolute position encoder and servo feedback control guarantee the correct positioning and make pin position re-adjustment unnecessary.
