      • Electro-Mechanical Testing Actuator

      • The all-purpose electro-mechanical servo testing actuator is suitable for tensile and compression applications and can be integrated into testing equipment in various ways. Testing applications range from materials and components to finished products, plus production stage (e.g. joining, force-fitting and assembly) testing and long-stroke cyclic or fatigue / durability tests.
    • Fatigue Strength Testing Machines

        • HA-Model: 50 to 500 k

        • The HA range are classical servo-hydraulic testing machines, with a testing actuator mounted in the lower crosshead. They are particularly suitable for determining material properties under cyclic loading e.g. fracture mechanics, LCF (Low Cycle Fatigue).
        • Model HB: 50 to 2500 kN

        • HB servo-hydraulic testing machines have the testing actuator mounted on the upper crosshead, making them extremely versatile in use, especially in conjunction with the optional T-slot platform, which enables flexure and component testing in addition to standard tests.
        • Model HC: 10 to 25 kN

        • The compact HC table-top testing machines are great space-savers. With the testing actuator mounted in the upper crosshead and the series-standard T-slot platform, flexure and component tests can be performed in addition to standard tests.
        • HTM High-Speed Testing Machines from 25 to 160 kN

        • The fracture behavior of many materials is known to be dependent on loading speed (among other things). Numerical calculation of crash safety requires appropriate data and constitutive equations. Zwick's HTM servo-hydraulic high-speed testing machines allow strain rate dependent characteristic values to be determined over a wide speed range.
        • Servohydraulic Testing Actuators

        • Servo-hydraulic testing actuators are used in materials and component testing to reproduce precise, pre-determined forces and travel. They cope equally well with periodic or random signals and with loadings ranging from static to continuous. These actuators can be integrated into a load frame (Models HA, HB, HC) or used as a single testing actuator on a platform.
        • Hydraulic Power Packs

        • Servo-hydraulic test equipment requires a pressurized oil supply with an extremely high level of cleanliness and constant pressure. Pressure fluctuations must be minimal at all times, even with very irregular oil demand from the consumer, with nominal flow rate matched to the consumer concerned. Zwick's wide range of hydraulic power-packs more than meets these requirements. Connection to testing actuators is via a set of hose assemblies; the use of steel piping is recommended where longer runs are involved. The power packs can also be coupled together for use with large hydraulic installations

        • Zwick hydraulic wedge grips are suitable for static tensile and compression tests, as well as for fatigue tests under pulsating and alternating loading.

        • Vibrophores®

        • Vibrophores are used to determine fatigue strength, with regard to fatigue life and fatigue limit, for example fatigue testing to DIN 50100 (Wöhler curve) under tensile, compression, pulsating and fatigue loads. Typical applications are fracture mechanics tests on CT and SEB specimens, pre-cracking specimens, fatigue and durability tests on components (e.g. screws and springs), and production and quality control of components exposed to sinusoidal loading during their working lives.

          • The robotic testing system 'roboTest A' (Compact) is used to perform fully automatic tensile tests on metallic specimens (e.g. to EN 10002-1, ISO 6892, JIS Z 2201, ASTM E8) or plastics specimens (e.g. to ISO 527-2, ASTM D790).

          • The robotic testing system 'roboTest B' (Compact) is used to perform fully automatic tensile tests (e.g. to ISO 527-2, ASTM D638) or flexure tests (e.g. to ISO 178) on plastic specimens.

                          • Notch Vision - Device for measuring notch impact specimen

                          • A standard and precisely shaped notch is important for correct results in an impact test. The Notch Vision measures quickly and without contact, not only the notch, but also the dimensions of the notched impact specimen. The Notch Vision measures specimen to ISO (U-, and V-notches), ASTM E 23 (Types A and C) as well as DIN 50115 (KLST-, DVM- and DVMK-specimen).

                            After placement the specimen will be automatically measured without contact, which eliminates operating errors and guarantees reproducible test results. In comparison to competitive instruments, the Notch Vision gives much faster test results.

                            Before delivery, each load cell is calibrated as part of a complete system with the materials testing machine, drive and measurement/control electronics, providing fully accurate testing immediately after commissioning.

                            All Xforce load cells feature high insensitivity to parasitic influences such as transverse forces, bending moments, torque and temperature variations.

                            • This unique digital clip-on extensometer is suitable for precise modulus and yield point determination to ISO 527-1 for rigid and semi-rigid plastics and for determining strain at maximum stress plus strain at break on rigid plastics with low extension.                               • Hydraulic grips are primarily used when test loads of 50 kN and over plus high gripping forces are required and are available in single or double actuator versions.
