- EUROS has an exceptional
position in the world, because of our unique blend of product range. We
offer rotor blades, licenses and technology transfers. Blades can be
selected from the current range of products or new designs or modifications
of available blades can be designed according to the customer’s
requirements.
The long time experience in the development and in the manufacturing of
master plugs, moulds and rotor blades in Poland allows EUROS the flexibility
and perfectionism in the technical solutions. All EUROS locations work
closely together with respect to production technology, quality management,
material sourcing, master plug and mould building, rotor blade
manufacturing.

Technology

Technology
- We expertly carry out all tasks connected with rotor
blade design: starting with the concept and design phase, through model and
mould building, prototyping and certification, up to serial production in
hand lamination or vacuum infusion technology.

Blade family concept
- Exploiting the cost - effectiveness of commonality, Euros
blades are designed in families. The center section is identical within one
family, whilst root and tip segments can be designed to meet customer
specifications.

Blade development
- Our blades are developed by our engineering department,
consisting of experts on the fields of aerodynamics, materials, lightweight
structure and production technology.
In co-operation with our customers, the blades can be modified to exactly
match their requirements. The engineering department is able to execute all
calculations necessary for rotor blade design and all related
certifications. An optimized control system or an adapted blade structure
can be used for load reduction.

Master plug and mould
- We perform the building of models (plugs) and moulds for
wind turbine blades.

Quality management
- Customer satisfaction is the direct result of the quality
of the products delivered.
Quality is thus an integral part of the work ethos in our enterprise. Our
quality management system assures a consistently high quality standard for
all offered products and work. Every step of our production is inspected by
our experienced quality controllers. Examinations range from controlling the
profile contour and surface quality to the internal analysis of the blade.
Our production facility and all applied materials are certified according to
Germanischer Lloyd regulations.

Static blade tests
- Static blade tests for blades up to 60m in length can be
performed and evaluated inhouse.
Blade families

- Since 2000 Euros has been delivering rotor blades to
various turbine manufacturers worldwide. Euros has developed and
manufactured more than 20 different rotor blade types. Examples of current
blades and blade families can be found below. New designs or modifications
of already available blades can be created according to customers
requirements.
EUROS projects range from the EU20—a 9.5 m long blade
for 100 kW passive stall turbines—to the M-5000-116—a blade with 56.5 m
length for offshore-5 MW turbines.
Specialized airfoils for exclusive use on pitch-turbines assure high
performance and moderate loads. Extensive measurements and customer
satisfaction show that the predicted values for power curves are achieved in
operation as well.
Our production facility is certified according to DEWI-OCC regulations.
Furthermore in the production Euros only applies certified materials.
