  • e-CAM & See3CAM Series of Camera Boards

    e-CAM camera board is e-con's reference design featuring a board camera interfaced to a processor on its high speed CMOS interface. Board cameras are available for Jetson Developer kits and NXP i.MX6 boards. For processors, that don't have the Camera ISP pipeline, e-con Systems provides the complete software stack for raw image sensors. The software stack has a wide variety of features ranging from color correction, gamma correction, dead pixel correction, color space conversion, sharpen filter etc.

    See3CAM Camera Board is the new series of USB 3.0 camera boards. This Board Camera has the world's first UVC compliant USB 3.0 camera module that is plug & play on Linux / Windows. CMOS camera board does not require additional device drivers and these cameras work with standard Windows (DirectShow) and Linux (V4L2) software.

    In addition to the camera boards available off the shelf, e-con Systems also does custom board camera design for customers interested in CMOS image sensors other than those provided by e-con.

            • DENEBOLA (See3CAM_CX3RDK) - Cypress® CX3™ Reference Design

            • Cypress Reference Design Kit, Denebola (See3CAM_CX3RDK) is an USB 3.0 - USB video class (UVC) camera RDK for Cypress® Semiconductor's EZ-USB® CX3™ USB 3.0 peripheral controller. The Cypress EZ-USB® CX3™ is a USB 3.0 peripheral controller that enables developers to add USB 3.0 connectivity to any image sensor compliant with the Mobile Industry Processor Interface (MIPI) Camera Serial Interface Type 2 (CSI-2) standard.The Denebola RDK developed using EZ-USB® CX3 is a complete RDK and has the OmniVision® OV5640 CMOS image sensor interfaced to it through a two-lane MIPI CSI-2 interface.           • e-con Systems offers a range of camera software that supports all of e-con's UVC USB cameras across platforms like Windows, Linux and Android. Customers can license the camera software from e-con Systems. Alternatively, customers interested in customization of the application to suit their requirements can contact e-con Systems 
              • e-CAMView – Windows Camera Application

              • e-CAMView is a Windows DirectShow camera application for video streaming and still capturing from the USB camera device with user friendly Graphical User Interface. e-CAMView comes with a set of features that can be used to attain the full functionality of the USB cameras. All the connected USB video & audio devices are enumerated and listed in the e-CAMView menu to choose one of the USB cameras and start streaming. e-CAMView while running displays the current preview resolution and the frame rate in the lower status bar. The USB cameras have some or all the UVC camera controls (specific to each USB cameras) such as, Brightness, Contrast, Saturation, Sharpness, Gamma, White Balance (manual/automatic), Backlight compensation, Focus(Auto/Manual), Gain and Exposure (manual/automatic). The e-CAMView enables to set these supported UVC camera controls, to switch between preview resolutions, to choose the output format, capturing still image and operating modes that are specific to the USB camera connected.

              • QtCAM is e-con’s open source Linux webcam software. This Qt Linux camera software application provides easier user interface for capturing and viewing video from devices supported by Linux UVC driver. It would also work with any V4L2 compatible device.

                QtCAM application controls are built on Qt Quick interface. Users could connect up to 6 cameras and stream videos simultaneously. The initial release of this Open Source Webcam Software supported all of e-con’s USB cameras and the updated version (v4.0.1) of it supports third party cameras as well. 
              • Spica- Barcode Scanner SDK

              • Spica is a 1D and 2D Barcode scanning application compatible with any Direct Show camera driver. This Barcode scanner application supports Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Embedded Compact and Windows Embedded Handheld. Spica SDK comes with Dynamic Libraries (both C# and C++) and API Developer Guide which enables customers to develop their customized barcode applications. Along with this e-con also provides e-CAMView sample camera viewer with barcoding decoder application for e-CAM51A_USB.

                This high performance fixed 1D/2D CMOS scanner can easily be integrated into various solutions such as kiosks, ticketing machines, Vending Machines, mobile ticket validators etc. The small form factor of e-CAM51A_USB enables compact and easy integration into various products.

The eSOMiMX6PLUS has i.MX6 Processor running @ 1/1.2GHz with QuadPlus/DualPLus/Quad/Dual/DualLite/Solo Core ARM™ Cortex-A9 and DDR3L SDRAM configurable up to 4GB. This Tegra K1 Module has NVIDIA Tegra® K1 4-Plus-1™ ARM® Cortex™-A15 Quad core running at 2.2GHz with DDR3L SDRAM configurable up to 4GB, eMMC configurable up to 64GB. Tegra SOM integrates Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module. TK1 SOM comes in a compact form factor with various configurations and OS support enabling customers to focus on their application design.

                  The CPU board exposes the complete range of interfaces provided by the Tegra K1 Processor through its connectors, so that the customers can get the complete functionality without going through the complex design requirements of the processor sub system including memory and power manager.

                • eSOM3730 - AM3703 / DM3730 System on Module
