Company Profile

The University of Rhode Island’s College of Engineering is a diverse community of students, faculty and staff dedicated to advancing society through learning, research and innovation. Our college has a proud history of preparing engineers for the global workplace and to meet the many challenges that society does – and will – face. We take particular pride in our academics and research, and I invite you to explore our undergraduate and graduate degree programs, including our five-year accelerated B.S./M.S. degree programs available in all engineering majors. The college also has the distinctive International Engineering Program (IEP). Our internationally acclaimed IEP experience prepares students with a global perspective in both an engineering discipline and a foreign language/culture through intensive study. IEP students hold paid internships at world-class engineering companies around the globe and earn two undergraduate degrees: a B.S. in engineering and a B.A. in German, Spanish, French, Italian or Chinese. In addition, the IEP also offers a dual graduate degree program (M.S./M.S. and Ph.D./Ph.D.) where students earn one degree from the United States and one from a partner institution abroad, with research and coursework undertaken at both institutions.
