HUBTEX is set to unveil a major premiere at LIGNA 2025, the world’s leading trade fair for woodworking and wood processing: the company will present two new electric forklifts – the MSL 50 and the MAXX 50. From May 26 to 30, 2025, the leading manufacturer of innovative multidirectional forklifts and order-picking systems will showcase its comprehensive solution portfolio in Hannover – including innovations designed for the efficient transport of long and heavy loads. Whether for timber dealers, sawmills, or prefabricated house manufacturers, HUBTEX offers tailored solutions to meet the specific needs of the wood industry.

MSL 50: Rugged Outdoor Performance for Demanding Transport Tasks

With the launch of the new MSL 50, HUBTEX introduces a robust outdoor upgrade to its product line. The new electric forklift features a 5-ton load capacity and a specially designed SL cabin (sideloader cabin), optimized for longer transport routes in outdoor environments. Its ergonomic, forward-facing seating position reduces strain on the operator and ensures maximum comfort—especially on extended journeys. A deep front window provides a clear view of the driving path, while the large side window offers excellent visibility of the load being transported. The MSL 50 is particularly well-suited for businesses with expansive outdoor areas, such as timber merchants or sawmills.

MAXX 50: 5-Ton Variant for Heavy-Duty Applications

With the MAXX 50, HUBTEX expands its portfolio with a powerful 5-ton model. Like all models in the MAXX series, it is designed for both indoor and outdoor use—perfect for navigating narrow warehouse aisles and loading or unloading trucks in outdoor areas.
“The MAXX 50 is ideal for the requirements of wood processing companies and timber dealers,” says Hans-Joachim Finger, Managing Director at HUBTEX. “It offers increased residual load capacity, which is especially important when transporting heavy or moist wood packages.”

The new MAXX 50 features an ergonomic cabin, a lifting mast precisely tuned to the load capacity, and an optional 360° HX steering system. With 185 mm ground clearance and a radar height of 535 mm, it offers the ideal balance between maximum warehouse space utilization and high outdoor maneuverability. A powerful 7 kW electric motor ensures strong performance—even on inclines.

Order-Picking Solutions for the Wood Industry

HUBTEX’s offering is rounded out with customized order-picking solutions tailored to the demands of the wood industry. The KP series includes multidirectional sideloaders that can be equipped with a removable platform, transforming them into efficient picking vehicles. The MK series is ideal for transporting doors and door frames, while the EZK platform—featuring either a dual-mast or scissor lift design—ensures high turnover rates and dual-sided shelf access. All models can be equipped with VacumaX vacuum lifting technology, which enables safe handling of loads while minimizing material damage.
