The inauguration of Clark’s new global headquarters in Flower Mound, Texas, marks a pivotal moment in the company’s history — a symbolic return to its American roots and a strategic move to support long-term global growth.

Owned and operated by Clark, the state-of-the-art 56,972 square foot facility is designed as a collaborative innovation hub, advancing the company’s legacy in forklift technology and material handling solutions. Key features include a Product Showroom, Forklift Experience Center, Clark History Hall, Dealer Sales & Service Training spaces, a Warehousing & Distribution center, and the Global Administrative offices — all under one roof, demonstrating Clark’s ongoing commitment to customers, employees, and partners.

The site was strategically chosen for its proximity to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, ensuring seamless global connectivity. After establishing a temporary global office in March 2022, construction of the permanent headquarters began and concluded in November 2024. Currently employing 36 staff members, Clark expects to grow to 65 employees by year’s end. Meanwhile, the company’s U.S. manufacturing facility in Lexington, Kentucky, remains fully operational, continuing to house key departments such as R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance.

“This grand opening is more than the realization of a long-held vision — it’s the beginning of a new era,” says Chuck Moratz, President & CEO of Clark Global and Clark Material Handling Company. “By returning to the U.S., we’re honoring our legacy while shaping the future of the material handling industry.”

Seung Soo Baik, Chairman of Clark Global Headquarters, adds, “Relocating our global headquarters to the U.S. reinforces our promise to deliver excellence while staying connected to our customers. This move sets the stage for Clark’s continued leadership and innovation.”

Clark welcomed dealers, partners, and local community members to celebrate the grand opening. Among the honored guests was Sung Hak Baik, Honorary Chairman of YoungAn, who shared:
“Since 2003, I have envisioned Clark’s return to America — the birthplace of the forklift. This new facility brings that vision to life, celebrating our heritage while enabling future growth and global impact.”
