In the era of advancing digitization and increasing cyber threats, securing data flows throughout a company’s logistics environment is paramount. ACD addresses this concern, particularly in the use of mobile devices for tasks like goods picking. The proprietary AndroidTM Industrial+ operating system ensures data security, with the entire source code residing on ACD servers in Germany. Regular updates, upgrades, and security patches guarantee the system’s long-term usability.

Innovations from Oberschwaben

A prime example of a genuine “Made in Germany” product from ACD is the modular and mobile handheld computer M2Smart®SE. Awarded for its innovations and design, this full-touch device stands out for its flexibility and diverse application possibilities.

Thanks to the patented sliding mechanism, various modules such as keyboards, RFID modules, or handles can be attached to the handheld without tools. This makes the M2Smart®SE suitable for nearly every logistics application, and its modularity allows it to be used for multiple, even different, processes. Collaborating with the R&D department allows for the development of individual modules, tailoring the device to specific needs. Available with a capacitive touchscreen in a 5-inch version with different imager options, and a 10-inch tablet variant for applications requiring a larger display, both devices run on AndroidTM Industrial+.

Additionally, ACD presents the M270SE, a classic handheld with a large keyboard in an AndroidTM environment. With various imagers and the secure AndroidTM Industrial+ operating system, this handheld is ideal for glove-operated tasks.

ACD Electronics enhances its largest product family, the MAX Black Edition, optimizing components such as the keyboard and mouse pull-out. The addition of a new base frame with a perforated grid simplifies the attachment of accessories like pen holders, hooks, or magnetic holders. The side columns now feature groove profiles for easy attachment of scanner holders, utilizing sliding nuts without drilling. The newly added electric height adjustment makes ergonomic work a reality in the entire logistics environment. ACD Electronics’ mobile workstations come in various performance classes, battery technologies, and include a comprehensive modular system with numerous options and accessories, along with a deep-freeze version for work in temperatures as low as -28 °C.

The product range is further complemented by the terminals of the MFT1xSE series and the ergonomic hand-held scanners of the HasciSE family, both suitable for sub-zero temperatures. ACD offers a comprehensive solution, particularly for the food and deep-freeze logistics sectors.
