AMI expands international activities

At this year’s Fachpack trade fair in Nuremberg, AMI Managing Director Stefan Brenner (picture, centre), Kampanart Tanpithaksidh (right), Director Robot System Co. Ltd., Thailand and Serge Tousignant (picture, left), President, Systemex Group, Canada, signed a cooperation agreement in the field of automated intralogistics and production logistics. Both partner companies specialize in robot- and camera-based systems and thus ideally complement AMI’s comprehensive intralogistics portfolio – for example, automated systems for conveyor technology, order picking and dispatch provision.

“With this cooperation,” says Brenner, “we want to reach our strategic market goals in Southeast Asia and North America, important growth markets for automation, in the medium term. In addition, this partnership offers us the opportunity to support our globally operating customers in Germany and Europe in these regions with the planning and implementation of automated intralogistics systems and to provide on-site service for these systems.

The intralogistics and automation specialist AMI has applications in almost all branches of industry and trade in both regions. The technological focus is on both partially and fully automated systems and robot-supported systems for use in intralogistics, production and industrial assembly.

Both partner companies, Systemex Automation and Robot System, which operate largely independently, are supported from the AMI location in Luckenbach in all technical and market-relevant matters. The partnership is a further step in AMI’s expansion of its international commitment and offers potential users technical expertise in the implementation of automation projects within their global supply chain.
