The company from Kirchheim is focusing on hybrid automation solutions in which  transitioning to flexible automation technology and the combinability of various system architectures. The trend toward modular machines shows no sign of abating. In order for this to occur easily and flexibly, AMK is offering a sophisticated concept of variably combinable drive and control technology. It makes no difference whether decentralized or centralized drives, or a combination thereof, is involved. On top of that, there is a suitable controller.

In the area of decentralized drive technology, AMK’s AMKASMART product range offers a broad portfolio of servo controllers, servo inverters, and servo converters with integrated power supply. Here, the iDT “all-inclusive motor” with integrated inverter is one of the top-of-the-line models.

The centralized drive series is supplemented by motors with a single cable solution. Here, the main focus is on easy, economical cabling. The new controller card generation enables sensorless operation of synchronous servo motors. What’s more, the controller card selection has increased significantly. As a result, a card with suitable dimensions can always be selected based on functional considerations. The customer purchases only what is actually needed. This increases the cost effectiveness of the drive technology.
