AR Racking, a company specialising in the manufacture, planning, calculation and installation of storage solutions, will strengthen its international presence by establishing an American subsidiary and opening a branch in Charlotte, North Carolina. This represents a strategic realignment that was initiated at the end of last year and is expected to be consolidated during 2023.

Represented in over 60 markets, AR Racking has been carrying out large warehouse projects in the United States for years in collaboration with the main system integrators for large automated warehouses. AR Racking is expanding into the United States with the aim of helping American companies improve their competitiveness by optimising their logistics centres or warehouses, whatever their sector of activity or intralogistic requirements. To this end, the company offers a wide range of industrial racking solutions for palletised and small and medium loads.

AR Racking Inc. will be headed by Pablo Montes, who has specialised training and extensive experience in various strategic and technical management functions. He brings not only extensive product knowledge but also project management and team leadership skills. “We already have interesting contacts and customers, and in this first phase our goal is to be perceived in the United States as a reference in the industry and as a reliable and innovative company that offers a specialised service that covers all phases of the project,” explains Mr Montes.

The focus of the activity will be on new projects, where AR Racking will contribute its added value with the advanced technology of its systems, its great responsiveness and the maxim of the “turnkey” concept. In order to offer the most high-performance solutions, AR Racking maintains strategic alliances with pioneering intralogistics companies specialising in technical components and robotised elements, which are integrated into AR Racking’s industrial racking systems as required.

MHI memberships and presentation at ProMat

AR Racking maintains affiliations with the MHI (Material Handling Industry), the most important association in the United States in the field of logistics and supply chain, with around 800 members and 18 interest groups, as well as the RMI (Rack Manufacturers Group), which underpins the company’s expertise in all matters relating to steel, racking and technical solutions.

Furthermore, the company will also be present at one of the largest logistics trade fairs in the United States, ProMAT, which will take place in Chicago from 20 to 23 March and is an ideal platform for presenting the company to the professional public.

Currently, AR Racking has its own subsidiaries in France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Colombia, Chile and Peru, as well as a head office and a production centre, both located in the north of Spain. With exports accounting for over 85% of its business, AR Racking has developed more than 34,000 warehouse projects worldwide. It has a production capacity of over 100,000 tonnes of steel. AR Racking’s industrial metal racking systems come with a 5-year quality guarantee and are made of pre-galvanised material as standard.
