Chipita s.r.o. produces food, snacks and sweets for international export at its Kostolné Kračany site in Slovakia. Since January 2022, the plant has been part of the Mondelēz International Group. The future cooperation opens up high innovation potential in the food industry for both companies.

Together with the general contractor Eurofit, a total of five stacker cranes of the type MONO were installed in the newly built high-bay warehouse. The installation of the stacker cranes and the conveyor technology took place within the hall, which has a total area of 4,000 m². In 2020, the complete warehouse was put into operation.

More than 7,000 storage spaces are available in the 13 m high high-bay warehouse. In addition to high availability, the main objectives of the new construction project were a handling capacity of 175 pallets per hour. The warehouse and conveyor technology was directly linked to the higher-level SAP system. The DAMBACH controls enabled a simple connection. The special feature of the project was the triple-deep storage with use of telescopic forks. This means more storage locations in less space.
