The LogiMover product range enhances the efficiency of manufacturing, assembly, order-picking and logistics. The LogiMover Pallet consists of two autonomous parallel tines that resemble a forklift’s fork, but have no physical connection. This enables them to tunnel under pallets from one side to the other, and reach pallets located at the back of storage areas. The system’s space-saving design and exceptional maneuverability enable it to turn in the tightest of spaces.
The LogiMover Rack platform vehicle is similarly compact. Developed to transfer carts, racks and shelving units, it can tunnel under and pick up load carriers in situ. Its integrated lifter can handle payloads of up to one metric ton.
LogiMover Pallet and LogiMover Rack can travel forwards and backwards at a maximum speed of one meter per second, rotate on the spot, and turn 90 degrees. A master computer, which can communicate with the customer’s high-level production control and mainframe systems, automatically guides the vehicles to their destinations via WLAN. LogiMover Pallet and LogiMover Rack can share the same track layout – tailored to the needs of a given production environment, warehouse storage or shipping zone.
LogiMover features a visual guidance system with tracks taped to the floor. Layouts can be modified quickly and easily at low cost to reflect routing changes or the relocation of staging areas. The vehicles are powered by high-performance lithium iron phosphate batteries that can be recharged automatically at stationary chargers. For safety reasons, LogiMover Rack is equipped with scanners certified to relevant standards, allowing LogiMovers to share traffic lanes with people and other equipment without the risk of collisions or injuries.
Benefits of the LogiMover range
Future impact
Flexible, effective, and future-proof solutions for in-house logistics operations are in high demand. LogiMover Pallet and LogiMover Rack streamline intralogistics processes through automation. The systems are extremely flexible and can be altered or extended quickly and easily to meet new needs. The use of simple visual track markings is a major benefit, as customers can create and modify route layouts themselves. In case the conveyor and storage system moves to another location, the visual track markings can be easily removed and refitted to the new setting. Furthermore, logistic systems based on LogiMover offer virtually unlimited scalability: additional vehicles are simply linked to the existing control system. Investment and operating costs are low, and payback is fast, not least because LogiMover can perform a wide variety of tasks.
