The compact evaluation unit supports common industrial Ethernet protocols as well as IIoT interfaces and can be seamlessly integrated into PLC- and IT-based systems. Easy Integration Between OT and IT Systems

The IDENTControl Compact B40 features a multiprotocol Ethernet interface and an integrated switch, supporting PROFINET and EtherNet/IP protocols. This enables easy integration into programmable logic controllers (PLCs) from various manufacturers. In addition, an integrated REST API facilitates easy connection to higher-level IT and IIoT systems.

Intuitive Web Interface and Automatic Time Synchronization

With its modern and intuitive web interface, the IDENTControl Compact B40 offers a high level of user-friendliness and simplifies the commissioning and configuration of all parameters for connected Pepperl+Fuchs IPH* (LF), IQH* (HF), and IUH* (UHF) readers/writers.

Compared to previous models, the evaluation unit features increased performance and higher processing speed. Automatic time synchronization via the network time protocol (NTP/SNTP) ensures high process reliability and, through precise timestamps, simplifies tasks such as fault analysis.
