Hubtex MaxX 2022: Flexible transport in narrow aisles

Steer smoothly in all directions with the joystick – the MaxX from Hubtex brings manoeuvrability to the warehouse. Hubtex’s patented HX-360 degree steering is the core feature of the electric multi-directional forklift. MaxX is one of the most successful truck families of the Fulda-based manufacturer. Now Hubtex is giving the popular movement talent a facelift with optimised equipment and shorter delivery times. The new MaxX can be experienced at LogiMAT 2022 at Stand D05 in Hall 10.

Whether indoors or outdoors, narrow aisles or high shelves – as a multi-directional forklift for an inexpensive entry into the electric world, the MaxX has established itself on the market since 2016 as an alternative to diesel and gas-powered models. The MaxX is used for transporting wood, aluminium, plastic, windows and doors as well as in the building materials and timber trade. In 2022, Hubtex has now revised the levelling system, modified both the cabs and the masts and incorporated a facelift as part of a model update.

MaxX is available in several versions: with a load capacity of 3,000 kg and a powerful 48-volt drive or with a load capacity of 4,500 kg and a 48- or 80-volt drive. Each basic vehicle of the MaxX series can now be individually adapted to the respective area of application by means of six different lift mast types. The lifting height can reach up to 7.5 metres. The special feature of these Hubtex vehicles is the fork carriage inclination. Especially when handling long loads in narrow aisles at high lift heights, the oscillation behaviour of the extended mast is significantly reduced. The modular design of the MaxX series also has a positive effect on the delivery times of the industrial truck, which have been shortened compared to the old series.

Playfully easy manoeuvres thanks to patented steering system
Drivers of the truck family are not familiar with complex turning manoeuvres. The chassis with multidirectional undercarriage has been combined with the patented HX steering system. Smooth changes from longitudinal to transverse or circular travel are possible without stopping in between. Everything can be done conveniently via joystick and HIT 3 multifunction display from the ergonomic all-round view cab. The driver always has a digital view of all important equipment information such as wheel position, speed and battery display. The cab has also undergone many visual innovations. Hubtex based its design on the most important design elements of the PhoeniX modular system.

Users also benefit from low operating costs. Thanks to HX steering, the integrated double load wheels no longer turn on the spot. The wear of the soft elastic tyres for use on different surfaces is considerably reduced. This also increases the service life of the multi-purpose machine and consequently the residual value. All this results in a low leasing rate. With an operating time of five to eight hours at a maximum speed of up to 11 km/h, the vehicle is ideally suited for multi-shift operations due to easy battery replacement.
