Igus’s new D3 control system offers cost-effective and easy-to-use solution

In addition to its drylin E linear axes with DC motors, igus has now developed a cost-effective and easy-to-use control system. Providing simple control and operation of the axes, the dryve D3 controller is for basic types of operation and the dryve D1 for more complex tasks.

The D3 control system is suitable for all standard DC motors. Simply connect to the 24V power supply and parameterise the operating mode, end position switch off, acceleration and the motor via the DiP switch. The speed can be adjusted with a rotary controller and the current limited via a manual dial. So, after a few simple steps, the control system can be put into operation. The dryve D1 control system is operated via a web browser on a PC, smartphone or tablet. The intuitive interface eases parameterisation for even the most complex tasks. Compact in design, it can be DIN rail mounted in switch cabinets. Furthermore, by connecting a WLAN router it can be controlled via a wireless device. The integrated web server does not require any additional software on the operating devices, nor does it need additional storage.
