With its extensive modular product range of decentralised drive electronics – mounted directly on the motors or in the immediate vicinity – NORD DRIVESYSTEMS covers practically all requirements and applications. The drive components have a power range up to 22 kW, an integrated PLC for tasks close to the drive as well as a high level of plug-in capability. They can be freely configured and adapted individually to any application. Decentralised drive technology from NORD can be integrated into all automation architectures and significantly reduces plant design costs.

This is how users benefit from decentralised drive technology:

  • Control cabinet may be smaller
  • Minimal wiring and cabling work
  • Simple maintenance
  • Rapid commissioning thanks to pre-configuration at the factory
  • Modifications and extensions to the system design easily possible at any time
  • Reduced costs for the plant design
  • Reduces the complexity of the system
  • Increases the efficiency of the entire drive system

NORD’s decentralised frequency inverter:

  • NORDAC ON/ON+ – SK 300P: With integrated Ethernet interface for use in IIoT environments
  • NORDAC LINK – SK 250E: Convenient drive solution for installation close to the motor
  • NORDAC FLEX – SK 200E: Our most flexible inverter with a wide range of accessories
  • NORDAC BASE – SK 180E: Economical version for simple drive applications

The modular construction kit opens the door to many plug&play extensions and options. The system-wide compatibility of the entire product family warrants a comparable function range, uniform operability, and common options for all NORD frequency inverters.
