PBC Linear introduces new low profile linear guide

PBC Linear has recently released a low profile linear guide system, Compact Series. This addition to the Mechatronics Enabled initiative is designed to provide smooth, accurate, and repeatable linear motion in tight spaces. Boasting a 23 mm standard height, and with the flexibility to be configured to adapt to the demands of a given application, the new linear guide system is an ideal fit for applications such as: lab automation, medical, automated delivery systems, dispensing robotics, and electronic board manufacturing.

The product line offers a variety of options including:

• Bearing: Gliding Surface Technology with smooth and quiet operation with a low cost, self-lubricating and maintenance free liner, or Profile Rail Technology providing rigid performance
• Lead Screw: 6 mm and 10 mm diameter lead screws available in a variety of leads
• Nut: Constant Force™ patented anti-backlash nut, or a standard fixed nut
• Motor: Integrated NEMA 17 or 23 stepper motors, motor mount options, or manual hand knob
