Qimarox: Double loaded pallets easily and quickly

Qimarox introduces an automatic pallet doubler: the Prorunner mk10-PS. With its compact design based on the popular Qimarox pallet conveyor, this reliable and maintenance-friendly stacker can be easily integrated into virtually any material handling system. This makes stacking loaded pallets faster, easier and more cost-effective.

Stacking loaded pallets saves space in trucks and warehouses, thus contributing to better utilization and higher storage capacity. Stacked pallets also create additional efficiency, as a forklift operator can transport two or even three pallets at the same time. The only requirement is that the pallets must first be stacked on top of each other. Forklift trucks or manual forklifts are usually used for this purpose. This is not only time-consuming, but also requires a high degree of precision to prevent product damage.

The Prorunner mk10-PS from Qimarox makes stacking loaded pallets faster and easier. This automatic pallet doubler grips a loaded pallet from the pallet conveyor and lifts it up. When the next pallet is then transported to the same position, the stacker lowers the first pallet again. This pallet is then located on the second pallet. In this way, the Prorunner mk10-PS easily manages more than 60 pallet stacks per hour. The forklift only has to take these stacks from the conveyor belt and transport them to the corresponding target position.

Extremely compact, module-based design

The automatic pallet doubler is based on the modular concept of the Prorunner mk10. The 4-column construction and the lifting mechanism is completely identical to the popular pallet conveyor from Qimarox. Only the carrier of the pallet conveyor has been replaced by a newly designed pallet clamping module. This module has two short tines at the front and back that fit and move in the pallet openings. These tines lift the pallet to any desired (adjustable) height, so that the next pallet can be placed underneath.

The great advantage of the Prorunner mk10-PS is its extremely compact footprint. The 4-column construction is placed above the conveyor belt and no longer stands next to it. Because the pallet is lifted both at the front and back, no additional space is required next to the pallet conveyor, unlike solutions with long tines that lift a pallet from the side. As a result, the Qimarox automatic pallet stacker can be easily integrated into virtually any existing end-of-line packaging or logistics system.

The Prorunner mk10-PS offers several advantages. Because the modular concept is based on an existing pallet conveyor, which is already in use hundreds of times worldwide, end customers can count on a proven, reliable, maintenance-friendly and economical solution. Any pallet conveyor produced in series consists exclusively of standard components.

The robust steel construction ensures a high degree of stability. Dynamic forces that develop during use are no problem. For the execution of the lifting movement, the machine is equipped with steel chains in a wear-resistant plastic coating. A noiseless lifting movement is thus guaranteed. Safety is also guaranteed in any case by the automatic drop safety device. All this makes the Prorunner mk10-PS a reliable solution with low operating costs and a short payback period.
