With the SEZ electric cylinder, AMK is expanding its SPINDASYN motor series. The SEZ is an installation-ready system, consisting of a servo motor with integrated linear unit. The motor rotor is pressed directly onto the ball screw, eliminating the need to use coupling elements for the connection. This reduces the inertia and thereby increases the dynamic response. Moreover, the resulting increased rigidity increases the precision of the overall system significantly.

The SEZ electric cylinders cover a force range up to 8.3 kN axial force and a stroke range up to 70 mm. For variable stroke lengths and axial forces up to 570 kN, the SKT series of AMK is available.

Based on its closed-loop positioning and force controls, the SEZ provides many advantages over other linear technologies. It has high positioning accuracy and can be easily integrated into the overall concept for automation. For this reason, the SEZ electric cylinders are also the first choice for precise and highly dynamic positioning tasks. Due to their high energy efficiency, the electric cylinders of AMK are, for example, also ideally suited as replacements for pneumatic cylinders.
